thx for the props!
hey thanks everyone for the welcome and props!! particularly JoeZ for the job referral, the awesome products, and s4play for the high quality workmanship and professionalism!!
the project is coming along and i'll try to get a decent video clip when all is done, incl sound from the exhaust (of course) :-D
i had the 'opportunity' to drive the car for about 20mins this morning with the new intake and exhaust, taking the car to the body shop for 3 days of work. i was grinning pretty damn hard with how sweet the car sounded--tough to describe it in words... not to beat the dead horse on how good it sounds, i got the attention of pretty much every car sharing the road without being obnoxiously loud.
subjectively the exhaust and intake combo (didn't get a chance to stagger the install to get an incremental assessment) was more crisp, louder, less drone for sure, and i can definitively feel more of the vibration when revving.
(more to come as i get my ride back...)

last round of updates (based on current scope of work) in the works. barring no surprises, my baby is coming home tomorrow with the updates--pictures to come in the next couple of days.
after ~250miles with JoeZ intake and exhaust, i have to 'resonate' literally, what everyone have been raving about the JoeZ PTS exhaust, how indispensable the new exhaust system is now to their is-F.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SOUND AND THE HOW THE CAR FEELS PUNCHING THROUGH THE GEARS!!!
the exhaust sound is getting more throaty and let folks sharing the road know the car's (your F's) presence.
getting more rice rockets and big raised trucks trying to race you is a bit annoying...

diablo, evil teo, the car went to the shop to get the hood refinished.
it turned out some of the chips were so deep that were hitting the metal. the hood's metal was repaired, primed, then repainted and clear coated.

thanks buddy!
i just got the car back from rick (s4play) after tuning the suspension. the car is now fitted with KWV3, the front splitters and the rear diffuser.
took the car home in the rain about an hour ago...
...
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE RIDE!!!!!!!!!!
car was well planted through the entire ride home, handling 'appears' to be improved significantly--initial observation on steering reflex and feedback.
(going to go quietly and enjoy the ride awhile now)
it's muddy and dark outside. will post pics and vid this weekend. rick's going to help wrap-up the LED DRL (waiting for volt boost) and the wheel alignment next week.
ground clearance: ~10cm front (3.9" at the splitter), ~15cm rear (5.9" right before the rear wheel well). cornering prowess significantly improved and the ride quality appears to be improved but will validate again after the road dries up--when it does...

wow that was fast ~ glad you like the car - can't wait to do a photoshoot together!
I can see you are a photography buff so hoping to learn some things from you when we can take some pics - now if only the rain would go away...

yup, shot with a 24-70mm lens @ ~30mm (guessing) from about 6 - 8'. bracketed shots stacked with Photomatix.
i was in a hurry, but i would probably improve the shots by bringing a step ladder to get the entire car's front at an angle with the asphalt to frame it then using parts of the santana row backdrop for the colors and the lighting... i was busy with the timer and the tripod and screwed up on the most important thing--getting the f-stop to > 10.
hope to roll with you next time schedule permits!
