Where did u find that diff? I called around no ones knows what I'm talkin about when I want a Soarer LSD. Also did it cost a lot?

One guy said just use a sc400 pumpkin. Both wheels do spin and it would match a r154 trans gearing perfectly

A friend of mine bought a Auto TT Trd diff so i bought this from him, naw didnt cost too much about $500, as far as the sc400 pumpkin, im not too sure about that, i have heard rumors sayin some sc400 diffs were Lsd, but if you can get a hold of a Lsd unit u can put it in any diff u like to make it whatever gear you like with Lsd...But the Soarer Diff is 4.10 gear which should match the R154 perfect.

4.10 is to high to boosted cars , even the stock 5 speed cars comes with 4.08 so with 4.10 you will go through the gears so fast and mPG
You really need a little taller gears maybe 3.92 for the SC400 or 3.26 for the GS4/ LS430/SC430/ 98-2000 SC400.
That's what i think broke your transmissions the short gears.

Yes, Omar I think you are absolutely correct, the 4.10 gear is too short and with the type of power im making it really decreased the life on the W58 trans, However Im just saying its perfect because thats how it comes factory, 4.10 with R154...

Me personally I would like to have a 3.92 gear from a Sc400 or a 3.76 gear from a Auto TT supra, But a quick question...Dont you think the 3.26 gear from a GS4/LS430/SC430/98-2000 SC400 are alil too long for a R154.?.?.?

gs430 never had LSD on the the IS300 had LSD and it was optional.

Nate 3.26 with Single Turbo and R154 is nice ,stay in boost longer and it's great for hwy pulls i had it but switched back to 3.92.
You can also do the LS400 3.62 it also a great setup you right in the middle 3.26 and 3.92.

Quick question about swapping diffs, are you able to actually swap out the whole pumpkin or do you have to break them both apart and swap the insides?

LS400 up to 97 they are all the same and they bolt up to the SC chassis, I will just swap the LSD in it and be done its has to come of anyway , so just pull your diff out and swap the lsd into the LS pumpkin.

Toybox You can just swap the whole pumpkin that will make your life easier and it will keep the cost down.
