Bit of a bad news update! I had the rear end up on jack stands to weld and do body work. Had been up for days with no issues, but when I got home from work last night the drivers side had fallen off the stands an crushed my side skirts! Needless to say I was not a happy camper. What a bad day. I almost died at work only to come home to that. WTF. I was trying to have it done to atleast drive it to Toyota fest but that's out of the question now.

Thanks , Yeah I've been kinda lagging on it right now. To many projects going on on the car at once. I'm going to be replacing the front bumper before I paint, Wanna try a shine auto one but not to sure how that will match up with my sides and rear. Got my self a ES330 steering wheel and uzz40 air bag, some cans of sem and some black vinyl to go with the black on tan. replaced climate controller lcd and all lights with led and I mean all lights even the little green and amber leds have been changed out to now be red and blue. lots of other stuff too. But that's not why were here : )
As for the body work all thats new is the drivers side is done for the most part, just need to guide coat. here are a few pics from this weekend.
New steering wheel in.
After welding all tears and building up metal in other parts
Profile after welds
After filler and some hammer and dolly work
Different view
Getting outta the garage and getting some food (sorry just a cellphone pic)

Nice work on the rears. A different bumper would do this car so much justice. The Shine one shouldn't be too bad. there's at least one member running that combo
edit: found for you

Looks really nice actually.. I also have a thread that states measurements of a couple body kits so you can ball park what works with what in terms of mixing and matching. But I think his pics speak for themselves that it'll look sickk

I think the Shine bumper would look just fine with the Vertex sides and rears. Your car is coming along so nicely. You did a really nice job on the rear fenders. Also where did you place the jacks when the car fell of of it? Thank goodness you weren't working on the car when it happened. This type of thing scares the sh-t out of me, especially since that guy from S2ki just died recently when his car fell off the jackstands and crushed his lungs.

Thanks everyone.
TougeSC3; Yeah it took me years of hunting and waiting for these to pop up. Well worth the wait!
Hil ; Bro thanks for that link. It's a done deal. After seeing how good of a combo they are together I'm going for it. Shine auto it is.
vinh ; I really can't even remember where I had em. But they were rock solid for almost a week. I really think some one did it on accident, leaned against the car or bumped it. Tell me about it. We had a friend of the family pass away that way. So I've always been a little on the scared side, not to mention half the time I'm alone under the car.
