Backup / reverse speaker? Where did the wiring trace back to? I wonder if any of the Sc purists would want to wire that up on our USA cars.

Sorry, my english is not so good to understand your question

So..next steps are done

My first idea, to install the Hertz 16,5cm coax system are failed. The chassis was too big for the small hole in the back. Here the pictures. I build a seperate adapter plate to fit the speaker, maybe is possible with weaker 16,5cm speaker with a smaller chassis and magnet.

ok... i modified the oem adapter to fit 13cm speaker:

ok, its very easy possible, small modifications for install

Today, i arrived the Phonocar Speaker:

and installed this:

fits for me perfect The sound is good

Next step is to change the woofer.

left Bosten 10.4LF and right side the oem

tomorrow, i will check to mount him, but the oem chassis and adapter is one part normaly, i kill no good chassis, but for this, i think, i must do it but after ist the sound better

HY!

Today, i installed the Boston Woofer

As first, i removed the plastic ring over the chassis, is very easy with a screwdriver

next step was to remove the membran from the chassis

next

done!

After this, i tested the adapter with the woofer in the car, if its all ok (terminal, enough space around the woofer....) and all ok, i marked the holes for the screws and drilled the holes and maked a M5 thread for the screws in the alloy

the holes are all ok, and i mounted the foam rubber and the connector with cable

yet, i fitted the woofer on the adapter, fits perfect

wiring with protection

One point was for me important, the new woofer + foam rubber are not higher as original

installed in the SC

The sound is much better, deeper, clearer, with more precision, not only deep tones, but the woofer need much more power as the oem part. Next step is to mount some bitumenplates and install the old Sony Class A amps

Thanks!

Today, i installed the new speaker in the front doors. with a small adapterplate was easy to install the 13cm speaker. The sound much better i´m happy

Door and more:

speaker removing

nice...a seperate closed housing for the woofer

but the 13cm don´t fit

I cutted a 5mm plate to a adapter, modified the box and mounted the speaker. on the speaker, i cutted the original mounting points and drilled holes to fit.

it´s not a highlight, but functional i modified also the grill on the rear side

Sounds better, more dynamic

HY!

Yesterday, i cleaned my summer tyres

These are IS250 Sport wheels with 235/40 and 245/40 Continental 3

245er on 8,5

235er on 8

also, i installed hidden valves, looks much better

In the car, i mounted bituminous mats, but i need more

The grill fits perfect

The 2,5" gaskets are coming for the IMF headers

Today, i modified the suspension again. first was the supra/Bilstein suspension.

But i´m not happy with this, also get modify

at first.. mounting place

ok,lets go!

i mixed the parts: Rear Suspension: Supra Bilstein damper, Kayaba Supra TT spring, SC400 support and Supra stopper.

The SC400 and the Supra stopper are different

with double sided tape its easy to fix the stopper

spring teaching

The oem SC spring is complete others, the Supra/Bilstein is a little bit smaller as the Kayaba TT.

all parts united

rear suspension done

the rear is higher...mh.... ok....go to the front suspension.

The front suspension is also Supra/Bilstein but the spring plate are 18mm lowered.

Spring teaching

The SC spring are more massive and higher

first side done on front

and rear

The driver side also modified

done!

The car feels like more stiffer, but not hard, more balanced i think.

Maybe was the supra/bilstein suspension from a NA Supra? does no matter, the suspension is modified

Thanks!

In Europe, this are the wheels on the IS250 Sport. We have no IS350 here
