Well, I didn't need any special tools, so I guess you don't need any... 1/4 mile? I don't know, maybe never lol. Nah, I am sure I will track it one day, but no time soon since I have no LSD, am still on stock wussy tires, and the w58. Once I am LSD, on an R154 with some tires that will provide traction, maybe I will run it.

Man, now I know why I put off the valve stem seals this long. Anywho, they are done and will hopefully fix my cold start smoking issue.
Aside from the VSS, I finally fixed my cruise, and cranked the boost to around 14psi.
It seems to run fine at higher boost. Since it is a MBC, it spikes to 14psi and settles to around 13, but if I go any higher, it hits fuel cut, so that is it for now.
I didn't put the car on the dyno Friday as scheduled since my PS hose blew and I spent Friday having a replacement made and installing it.
My next step is to tweak my cruise with the clutch pedal switch, and fix my AC. I will post results on both.

I made one. It was a total PITA. Believe it or not, the cruise cable is smaller diameter cable than the throttle cable, and was a prefect match to bicycle brake cable.
I made barrel ends out of brass rod stock, drilled, notched, and sweated the ends on. It works great.

I think so, but I am waiting on dude to email me some pics. You are going to try a Supra cruise cable? Let me know if it works. It almost looks a bit short to me so I am curious. That's why I just decided to make one for $15 instead of risking the Supra one not fitting.

Doing a bottom end refresh for various reasons, here are the pics of the rod bearings. Is this normal wear and tear? It looks like a couple journals have some taper judging by the wear pattern...The bearings on the piston side look like this, and the bottom side is uniform and show very little wear. I had cold startup rattle too, so maybe the worn bearings were the culprit.

Mains looked really good IMO. There was one main that had some scoring from debris, but otherwise, the crank and bearings looked better than I expected.
