Hey great news. My car still smokes after decel and after long idle followed by throttle blips. Basically, after high vacuum, it smokes. Isn't that awesome?

Anywho, at least I think the cold start rattle is gone. I have not noticed it since the rebuild. I guess I am going to try a catch can next. If that doesn't work I guess it may be the actual valve guides.

I did not have the money to do a full on head rebuild, so I guess I will just roll with what I have for now. I may also buy a cat and see if it burns off most of the smoke if nothing else solves it.

So I got some TTs and new tires. They are 245/45 front and 285/40 rear. Yes it is in stump jumper mode, but it will have to stay like this for a while until funds allow a drop. I also wonder if I will rub or not even at stock height.

Thanks man. Yeah I am anxious to see if it tries to scrub. The pics are before the car was moved, so the suspension was not settled to any degree. What size tire are you running out back and does it rub? Do you have stock or modded fenders? Do you still run the rear trim piece?

Long time no update, but I finally made some changes to the SC:

FMIC installed It's a Treadstone TR10. Very nice intercooler for the money. High fin density inside and out and people are getting some nice IATs with this intercooler.

Also, I got a catted midpipe and it is doing a great job of cleaning up my exhaust smoke. The car does not smoke visibly at all any more and I also don't get the nasty, catless stank. It's kind of a bandaid until I can go through the head or whatever is causing the smoke, but the car runs awesome so I am in no huge hurry to mess with it now.
