Garbage is just a reference to old. I'm just saying think about how much money you'd be putting into a sc, these cars are all over the place and the resale even with a bunch of mods is horrible. Where if you had a mk4 supra what you paid for it is what you can sell it for, plus with the rareness of then they always capture someones eye.

ttc was a 4.7 tundra motor build.
I understand the return on investments is zilch almost in comparison. Been there, tumbled down that road two different times. This build is to be personal, and most of all permanent to myself. An SC has been a vehicle I have loved for many years, and if I dump this type of cash into it, its not being sold off. Same goes for a MKIV build I plan for in the future. Once modified like I am wanted, it will stay mine.
My previous builds were to see what I wanted, what I could do, and just a little mix and matching going on there. From 5mge's to 7m's, 1j's, and 2j's I have done quite a few Toyota specific builds, and swaps. Now I wish to tinker with the 1u a little, and then proceed to the 1GZ swap. Now yes, I am searching for a small amount of power, and torque, but this is not a build to go ***** to the wall. I would choose a 2j setup for all out.
Goal for swap: Have something DIFFERENT (2j is not different in an sc), and not a cross-breed (brand). No LS motors, nada, just Toyota. I like to have things that are not common and are difficult to obtain at times. Having a V12 SC is going to fulfill that realm for me, as well as an amazing power band, and a slight change in exhaust note.
I do not know exactly what I am going to do motor wise yet, but at minimum, its getting a FRESH rebuild. Tackle problems before they are problems, or i'll be pulling that motor in the near future.
