Then you would have to do all the wiring, tuning the FIC, and fabrication yourself.
well, thats your cost...so what is the average price you going to sell the kit for? like to know so i can save up the rest of the money....im still comparing to get your kit or to do the swap.... leaning more to your set up... put me in ur list and let me know when... thankz

Please add me to your list. I'm starting to reread maximum boost and starting my initial research. I've got a 2002 sportsdesign as well, and low boost seems to be the initial goal. And ultimately I'll do a tranny swap once I open up the head. What suspension upgrades to you suggest with this added power?

glad to see a fellow NA-T on here. i just got done doing my 2nd overhaul on mine with swapping all TT internals and a .70 trim. Are you running a valve body upgrade on the trans and if so which one. I know you were talking about making a kit for these car but your still working out the kinks.... if you need a hand i can help. My first setup i was running only 18psi but ended up cracking the pistons and now everything is setup for 900+ HP

Here is the parts list. There might be some changes made to the kit. As it sits right now, the Stage 1 is limited to 5psi because of the stock injectors. You can actually run around 8psi on stock compression if you have large enough injectors. I'm trying to keep the Stage I kit right at $4k.

T4 58mm Turbocharger
2JZ-GE T4 Turbo Manifold
AEM Dryflow Air Filter w/ 4" Inlet
Intake Elbow with fittings
Intercooler w/ brackets & Intercooler Piping
Downpipe & midpipe
44mm wastegate
40mm BOV
AEM FIC Pre Tuned for turbo kit
Plug N Play Harness custom wired for car
O2 Simulator and O2 Heater Simulator
Oil Feed/Return Hoses and Flanges
Walbro 255lph pump
Installation video guide and manual

Thanks for the list Jeff.

Is it possible to use the stock exhaust with the midpipe you're including?

I'm guessing though that a lot of power will be lost through the stock mufflers.

Actually, I am running with the stock exhaust. The down pipe and mid pipe will work with either the stock or aftermarket cat back exhausts. Not much loss of power since its only at low boost. I like keeping the car quiet so I kept the stock mufflers. You can't even tell the car us modified until the turbo spools.

Oooh that is very nice!!!

So with stock injectors, you said you'd push a little less than 300 whp. Would the car get the same numbers as a GS400 (acceleration wise)?

I would say that if you raced a gs4, the gs3 with this turbo kit will beat it after 60 mph. Maybe not as fast off the line, but when the turbo kicks in it definitely has more kick than a gs4. Keep in mind that's just the stage 1 kit at 5 psi. If you bump up the stage 1 to 8 psi, then it will eat the gs4 alive lol.

Yea, that's the problem with the GS4. There's not so much aftermarket support. The GS3 at stock compression gains around 20rwhp with each psi of boost. At 5psi, the car puts down approx 280whp. 8psi will net you around 340whp. Stock power is about 185whp.

Wow it sounds like the 2jz ge loves boost then. I'm thinking about selling my gs4 and picking up a gs3 for a turbo or a 2jz gte swap. Jeff, have you ever done a 2jz swap on a gs4? Im just wondering if it's worth the extra difficulty...
