Default Fun once again, at last!!

Gang,

since i have repaired the leak, and replaced the fouled plugs, my car starts up quickly and runs quite well. There are some tweaks yet needed, but I have been able to drive it on the street without any issues. I am just about finished heating off the copious amount of spilled power steering fluid that spilled onto the DEI lava wrap...So, not to much smoke anymore!!

But, the best thing is driving the car...And that is fun!! Hitting the curves, acclerating easily thorugh break in time, braking, etc. Most fun!! Finally, after over 5 years since the beginning of Stage 1 of this project, and now onto Stage 2 nearing completion, this is fun...Just driving my car!!

I am ecstatic at this point!!

Default Video of SC400TT

Hey gang, I have been tweaking the car here and there, and there is more tweaking to do, but it is coming along very well.

Here is a video I made tonight from my phone cam, and this is the way a properly tuned Autronic SM4 sounds The SM4 is the BOMB!! Car is running exceptionally well. Thank you Darin Dichiara, Master Tuner!! Dyno Tune is at the end of this month.

I am stoked guys and gals!

Jose, I know! It was on the list...My wife offered to assist me, ad we spent a whole afternoon organizing my garage. I hate it when it gets that way...

No, this is a One-Off I had made after I sold my original Stage 1 Turbo Kit to Project Galactus, as NextLevel noted below. The main differences with this one is that the plumbing is all stainless, the Turbos are larger Bullseye Power instead of Garrett, the Bullseye Turbos are made of polished Stainless housings on the hot side as well as made woth the latest Borg Warner internals, The Manifolds are a little larger, and the layout of the turbos are symetrically placed in the engine bay for aesthetics. But the Stage 1 Kit I soold to Galactus was an excellent kit, and those manifolds were jigged, so they can be made again and again.

It better put down a bunch more than that!

I built it to handle that power, but I do not expect it on the first pass. I will probably have to tweak the exhausts, the fuel, and possibly add more agressive cams. We will see. I am in Darin Dichiara's hands as to the level of tuning we take it to...

Cowboy jigged up the manifolds, you may be able to get a set from him or from MVP. I am not sure. Making the manifolds is time consuming and costly, especially if you make them from stainess, and have to fab up a one off. Go back and read my thread...It will tell you a lot. Space is a big factor for a TT V8, especially if you plan to keep the AC and the PS. It also will not be cheap. I recommend you take a look at Steve Chumo's thread too. He designed a single turbo set up that is powerful and responsive, and much easier and less costly, compared to mine. Good luck!
