SC400TT Project Car Stage II
#1236
The SBN (Spring Break Nationals) are nearly upon us...This Saturday. I have to roll the car in between 1 pm and 6 pm. A lot to finish...it will go down to the wire. Late nights coming up, especially this Thursday evening. The front seats should be complete as they were being final fitted yesterday afternoon...They were getting the wrinkles out. The rear set covers were already cut, stitched and ready for installation. They also were working on the front and rear door panels and the center console...the whole thing should come together nicely and flow well...
Front seats (Wrinkles still have to be removed:
The car was in the paint booth yesterday for final paint repair to it. Final sand, buff and glaze to be done on Tuesday and Wednesday.
In booth:
Once completed with the paint shop, back to Raw Brokerage on Wednesday afternoon for final mechanical and engine bay work...The final and Big Tune by Darin will have to come after the SBN as there is no time to get it done before.
Much, much more to come...
Ryan

No, literally, i remember the other day, my wife came out of the shower and walked around all naked for a few minutes while i was reading your thread. When she noticed that i wasn't very interested she put her clothes on and moved on :-)

Rear strut-bar
Hi Ryan,
If you find the time, please take some measurements of your rear strut bar, see attached photo:
I'll probably never drive my car so violently that i'll need it, but it seems pretty easy to manufacture one and it can't hurt to have one.
Thank you in advance

It is on the car, and it looks great. I picked up the car and towed it back to Raw Brokerage for the final engine bay completion as well as the install of the new turbo timer. All engine panels and turbo shields are completed and they will be assembled onto the car.
The wheels and tires shipped today from Miami, and will be here tomorrrow. The Tires are nitto Invos, and they are mounted and balanced, so I only need to mount them to the car. I expect them to look awesome on the car...
I picked up the door panels and they are hot, so I am excited about the way they turned out. I decided not to add the same elongated diamond pattern on the doors, so I broke them up with new black leather in the inserts and red stitching. Stressful preparing for the show.
