'97 SC300 3L4 5 speed. (UPDATED PICS)
This will be my project thread. I have one for my celica all-trac. I figure I've had a CL membership for some time now and had an sc300 for even longer. I have done many things good and bad for this car. I don't care what most people think, because i am happy with it and one day I will have boost.
Many pics of the years gone by and many of things to come.

three in a row, the front looks good the back could use a little spacer. I like it alot, the uniqueness, using stock headlights and blacking them out, alot nicer then the ebay ones. The only thing it needs to make it look alot nicer is an intercooler. Since it's a DD don't even worry about hooking up a turbo system. Save for a swap, mount and intercooler up and keep the plugs on the ends of it. Looks great keep up the improvement! and get a better camera with some scenery shots.

So here is the 3 day progression. I will post a before pic soon as well. As the story goes; I was travelling down a highway in louisiana and a semi tire tread hit my bumper and mangled it and ripped off the entire front lip. And I had tint on the headlights as well. It looked like *****. It has been a year and I have been lazy. but one day I looked at it and decided it did not deserve this treatment. the least I could do is make it acceptable at 5 feet or more. right??? so this is with autozone spray paint and supplies. about 8 hours of work and lots of glass and filler. I will get a new bumper one day. But for now this will do. I don't perfection, just acceptable

Oops, I just threw in loads of photobucket pics in there. well there is the interior. The rear is in there as well. I know that it is not a soarer or toyota. But then again the badges are not even properly placed like on a soarer. hell, it isn't even a "gt-t" yet. But it looks good to me. Different is always better. On another note... The wheels are not the ones I have for looks. i have another set of axis super hiro's. I'll post pics today. These are for winter use turned... I can't afford $500 tires twice a year and need to stop drifting and taking the apex's to hard. I blew my 4.10 auto diff because of that.... and 2 clutches. So now I have an aisin oem and a stage 1 6 puck dual sprung. the 5 speed swap is from a '94 I believe. i still need a standard ecu for the ignition to stop retarding everytime I mash it in 3rd. It thinks it has to shift still.. i just want to know if an OBD1 ecu will work for me? It look like it will plug in from some pics of one I saw on ebay but I am not sure.
Thats my wife BTW

I have since bought and painted an OEM 97+ bumper (what came on it) and added a lip made from roof flashing and rivets. very subtle and matching the rest of the paint. I like it and it's much better now!!

that sucks about the semi tire , i have a story like that , we had just traded an 07 R1 for an 01 Audi S4 -
, decent trade , audi had full exhaust , aftermarket Recirc valves , and Rs4 wheels , well so im driving -
well i spot the tire and completely drive over it , his audi having really dark tint , and a tinted windshield at NIGHT , he saw it wayyyy late. .. .. . . .
i felt so bad , it completely ruined his front clip , and the euro plate that was on it
sorry for the thread jack , btw i beleive you did pretty damn decent for what looks like 5 lbs of bondo on that front end , the sanding and finished product
