Any reason why you chose the Pro-EFI ECU over the others?

Thanks for all the compliments - the car has been in a constant state of evolvement since I got her in April of 2008. SoFLo has it's share of nice SC's and knowledgeable people, and this has made it easier to put this car together right - many thanks to my SoFLo bros and particularly to Errol @ TPS for the engine work and John ( //LRD ) @ Wheel Get It for my Zone rims.

Yes, ProEFI doesn't need a resistor pack or a DLI for spark for starters. Besides having just about any sensor one could want ( I have fuel and oil pressure sensors ), the ECU allows the use of flex fuel without map changes. Meaning the car is tuned on pump gas and I can run any mixture of ethanol/gas and the computer does the rest ( has a multiplier for ethanol content ). I have a flex fuel sensor on my return fuel line and this measures ethanol content and 'reports' to the ProEFI. It's very cool to be able to fill with E85 when available, and then also 'just' add pump 93 when E85 is not available and the computer does it thing for me. E85 is very cost effective 'race gas,' and allows me to make big power without using costly C16. I'm happy with the ProEFI and I switched from an AEM.

Tee Lex's SC's is one of those cars that'll make even the most seasoned MkIV Supra owner take a 2nd look at SC's in general.

Ohh, that's very interesting. I was just wondering because you don't see as many people using the Pro-EFI anymore, but that's pretty cool that it does all the compensation for E85 and 93 mix.

If I had an award for the most awesome Street Driven SC, it would definitely be given to you!

Baller Status: APPROVED!!

The Pro-EFI is relatively new at least for the 2jz platform, a lot of AEM users are switching. I plan on switching over myself once I go built motor

Back on topic.
