Damm dude. Serious work! I'd say go for some better amps! You're off to a great start!

you got ***** my friend. i'm loving where you're going with this.. i was going to do my own fiberglass work for my car as well but i couldn't find the time or the nerve to do it... if you do get as far as wire tapping.. i would love a wire schematic of the factory amp.. also if you do decide to switch your mids.. i would love to see your build for a custom mounting bracket

Your work looks great so far. I'm waiting to see more updates. Too chicken myself to try fiberglass work lol.

OEM HU give signal to the Alpine PXE-H650, which will then handle the sound processing and provide RCA outputs to the amps.

I might still used the 3 amps pictured above. The two non-working are being repaired, while the third is being re-capped.

I currently have amps of the same line in my own vehicle. They're serving me well. Good power, run cool, and they didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

Change in plans: Helix S801 out, Illusion Audio tweet in. The Helix tweets did not fit the tweeter pods how I would want them to. They fit, but cannot be aimed.

The Illusion Audio tweets are from their old ND8i component sets. Not too much info on them. All that's provided from their website is: 1" low Fs
Hypertex dome. Their passives crossovers have a crossover point of 3khz, so I'll start there and see how it does.

The tweet dressed up:
