Where did you get the purple color? I actually bought some "midnight dark purple" paint for my car and I was wondering if it was what you got, because thats the exact color I am going for.

how easy was it to install?
Thanks man, the car was built in japan. So I should probably call this thread a built thread , but there's much work left to do on it to make it what I'm looking for So I don't know where the e-brake button came from, sorry

Yup, didn't post up the link here as it's on another thread. Trust me, I've seen it numerous times

I didn't get it, the car was built by it's previous owner in Japan. Couldn't tell you, but I'm going to head over to Nissan and see if they can pull up the paint code for the gtr midnight purple so I can have some parts painted up

A little update:

I'm shopping for my next suspension setup on this. I've heard of a lot of people using the stance coilovers which is popular for drift purposes. But I'm also thinking about the RSR coilovers... can I get some advice from those of you who run these?

Also I've heard of people using opposite spring rates for front and back, or just the same spring rates. What's the difference? and benefits?

Car is now in my hands! Did a big road trip to the docks to pick it up and just got back. Here's how she looks now, just going to have to re-arrange the shop to make some room for this beast (please note the 4x4 stance was for shipping purposes

Vids of it running to come

Started tearing some parts off, plans for a new origin body kit on the way.

Also found she's only firing on 5 cylinders, compression numbers as follows:

140,135,65,135,130,135 mind you that's on a cold engine.. I'll have to get it rechecked as spring gets nearer

that sucks that its only firing on 5 cylinders---i hope you got a good price on it.

im surprised someone took the time and effort to build this car and than put one of the skirts on backwards lol.

Since your getting a new body kit what are you doing with your old one?

anyways good luck i hope the engine turns out to be ok

I'm not too worried about the compression tests, I'll get it sorted for summer

I'll likely be selling the old kit, not sure for how much yet but send me a PM if you're interested.

Here's a shot of the steering angle which will help get this car sideways on the track

Heyman Knuckles ftw!

Update! My White soarer is long gone to a new owner..

As for this one:

Got it up and running. Then hauled it to get tuned by Justin Nenni from Tuning Concepts. It makes 587whp on pump gas and 16 boost on 5 cylinders

Don't worry there'll be more to come of this beast!
Just after the tune!
