Black or midnight blue people?
That's not a bad price at all. I appreciate the response. I've been thinking about buying a 1JZ soon and swapping it myself.

Midnight blue sounds better, but you can't go wrong with either color. How dark would this midnight blue be?

That's impressive. Do you have a lot experience with engine work or is this your first time swapping an engine?

A friend of mine mentioned the same thing. That's not a bad price.

Not to dark and not too light on the midnight blue. also decided im going to do a two tone and painting the roof black aswell as the hood and trunk..Give it a real original look.. This is my first complete swap .. no problem so far u just have to learn ur stuff as u go.. if u have time it can be done. i decided to do it myself so i kno every inch of my car. also i will feel really occomplished when im done.Starting the body work next sunny day. you should for certain do it your self i have faith in ya lol

remove these three bolts i beleive the were 14mill socket and use a open wrench on the other side and apply it closest to the body on the car so when u crank down on the wrench it hits the body and u use it to stop the wrench from moveing so u can unbolt it useing the socket wrench

those other two grey bolts on the elbows on the diff need to come out aswell bc it attaches it to the body. at this point put a floor jack underneath the diff so when u unbolt the diff it doesnt fall on u..also on the back side of the diff there three 14 mill alley key bolts that attach the diff to the rear sub frame those need to come off i couldnt get a pic of themb no space to do so

After the cv shafts are unbolted from the diff use a big flat head screwdriver and pry the cv shaft off the diff

oh no, when you see someone say 1.5jz, they're not talking about the displacement of the motor, just a a phrase we use when people put the 1jz head on a 2jz block. its like a hybrid 2jzgte. most people do it if they end up messing up the 1jz block, they just use their 2jzge block which is just as strong.
