Haha, you're telling me, it's going on almost 2 months now. All the body work is done and the car got primed this past Friday. The hardest part is that when you work at a busy family owned shop, YOUR car is usually the last on the list to get worked on. My brother is our production manager and when he was on a work trip last week, I had the guys work on mine . We'll see how soon it get's painted, buffed, and reassembled though. It's ok though, I'm still waiting on my Mega arms and the wheel to get shipped back, so it's easily 2-3 weeks out.
You know, I'm on the fence about the VS-XX's. Of course the design is a timeless classic and they're in pretty good shape. But, this is my second set of 20's and for some reason, I'm not really feeling 20's on this car. Not sure why. Maybe I just need to see it all together with the car assembled and when I get my ride height squared away. Plus, the specs are pretty conservative too....20x9 +36 and 20x10 +44. Decent size tire though with 245/30's and 285/25's. I've always liked a simple 5 spoke wheel with a nice size lip and the AME's fit the bill. Tough call. If I don't run the VS-XX's, I may just get them re-lipped and get better specs and see from there.

Well, it's been a while.....still waiting for paint. But, I'm happy to say that I got my wheel back and it looks great. Big thanks to Virginia and Paolo from Simple Wheel Works. In the mean time, the rest of my suspension stuff came in from Mike @ Figs. Lowering mega arms and Econ Toe links, powder coated black. Oh, and I also came across another set of wheels that I wanted......just in case. 19x9.5/10.5 Gloss black Work Varianza T1's. Always loved these things!
Remember me?
And now I'm back...
And some other stuff...
Ahhhh, can't wait.
