Did you figure out the resistor pack scenario? let me know if you still need help i just been busy with some other stuff.
Project is looking great!!
I think so, I haven't wired it up yet but it seems straight forward enough.
I have the injectors wired sequentially from the aem ems. so 1-6 wires go straight to the injectors. than the resistor wires don't matter which injectors they go to so 6 wires from the resistor to the injectors and 1 wire to the resistor for 12v power.
only question i have is which way the electricity flows +/-?
does the ecu send a signal to the injectors or does it prevent a current to pass through? the reason i am confused is because I don't understand why the resistor pack has power. is that just to power the resistance? also if the resistor is ground than does it just ground to the chasis? so i would need to make sure the resistor has good contact with metal??
so you said you will have your harness worked on again?? did you not go to dr tweak in the begining??
well they don't wire the injectors up. they leave that to the person buying the patch harness. since i opted to wire them sequentially, that is. the stock wiring is set up for batch so they can't just make a patch harness from batch to sequential, the wiring is different.
car is done. dynoed it this weekend with henry schelley from aem. the car made 380 whp on CA 91 octane. It feels like a beast too. did my first clutch kick this morning with my boss in the car. he giggled! haha. I am pleased with the outcome. can't wait to hit the track.
