I have had my sc for going on 5 years. It has been through many transformations and now it is going through another. It went from a clean stock sc300 automatic to a gutted out 5 speed with a 1jz drift spec. All parts were basically put on with month gaps in between. So currently the car has the following mods. And they were installed in this order.

Kaaz 2way
Hawk hps pads and steel braided lines
Poly control arm bushings
1jz with r154
Car partially gutted
Daizen steering rack bushings
Battle version steering knuckle mod
Sparco seat
Battle version traction bar and toe bar
Carbon hood

So I have had this setup for 2 years and I have always wanted more hp so for some reason instead just putting one thing on at a time. I think ima get it set right in one go. So i just dropped my car off at battle version. Alex pfieffer's shop. Going to get my ride worked on by a professional. I want everything to be right. Alex knows so much about racing, drifting and the sc. I couldnt have picked a better guy to work on my car. The goal of this build is to hit 400+ whp. This will be accomplished with the following list of parts

Arm ems v1
Garrett gt35r
Greedy fmic
Greedy profec boost control
Act xtreme 6puck sprung clutch
Fic 850 cc injectors
Tail mvr44
Harness from the dr tweakz
Fic fuel rail
Fpr
3 in viand down pipe
Strait pipe back to stock muffler y

Progress so far the fmic is installed.



Diff removed. Taken to kaaz for an inspection.

should make 400 easy.. Not sure about that turbo.. but Ive never Liked Garretts similar setup with a Percision making 412 whp at 18psi on my buddies 1jz

Nice good to hear. I was considering precision turbo. I thought a ball bearing turbo would give me more reliability. Although it is old technology. It has been more than proven.

GT35r will be fine. I have a GT35R with .84 hot side twin scroll and its amazing! im making 550hp at 17psi with a 1.5j and built head on e85.

where did you pick your 1jz up from? im thinkin of doing a 1j or 2j swap but dont know where to buy a legit motor

Got it from gspeed. I hear from the forum that jhot is a good importer as well. But gspeed was easy to deal with. Except it took forever to get here. Cuz I got dibs on the motor when it was in japan. And the container was stuck in the port for a month. So I ended up waiting almost 3 months. It was worth it got a front clip so lots of extra goodies

how much is all that costing?

I have a sc getting a gte/r154/single setup right now. It has a kaaz 2 way, BV toe and traction, solid diff bush, stance coils...
I am curious to see your setup..

WOW!!!! Not gonna lie dude. Thats kinda high for a 1j. I have had two 2jzgte setups on 2 different cars with a single setup for cheaper. The garrett gt35 would be a goos choice. Had a gt40 on one of my setups fully tuned and it just had way to much lag.
