The wireing is another pain, if you are going to do this mod, your going to need intestinal fortitude because your pretty much disecting a very expensive vehicle just to run a tiny wire.

For me, I was at a point of no return. So 6 hours later.....
Actually, for the wiring part you can take a look at the IS250/350 tutorial.
They are pretty much the same.
I am sure this is his first time, so it took 6 hours.
Tommy @ Music box can do it in one hour for the IS F.
Your car is now so much better compare to day 1. haha
I am happy that you like the mirror!!

Thanks Capt.

Im glad you liked the brakes. You cant beat the price, and performance that you get with them.

Update 06/02/2012

So today I started installing my new sub box. What a PITA!!! LOL

Here is what Im installing. Its not a complete system, i just wanted more bass.

Zenclosures sub box
2 JL 10W3V2
JL Slash 500x1
Audio Control LC2i

Ill have some pics up in the morning of the install. I placed the amp under the passenger side seat. I placed the LC2i in the trunk next to the ML amp. I tested the wiring, and everything works fine for the exeption of a couple of small issues with the LC2i. Its turning on and off by itself, but I think its because of the way I have it connected to the sub wires coming from the amp. I might also have to run a trigger wire, and bypass the Smart control.

We shall see. Start again in the morning.

Sarge,

Car is beautiful and an inspiration...question...the Zenclosure box how do you like it? Reason I am asking is because I plan on getting this box and I am running a 10w6v2 and just wanted to ensure the sound quality.

Thanks for the compliment Fresh!

Im a repeat custumer with Zenclosures. They made the boxes for several of my cars in the past, and I have had nothing but compliments on the sound and look.

He has 2 diffrent styles for the IS line. I had him custom build one for me using 2 diffrent colors to match the color scheme on the F.

You wont be dissapointed, and the price is incredible.

Curious, how did you install your Lexon lip? Did you take the bumper off or did it in place?

I've had my Lexon CF lip for a year now sitting in the living room and looking to installing it soon.

At first it looked like it was off. But it was perfect. There are holes in the Lexon lip. What you do is mount the closest one to the wheels first. There is already bolts there from factory on the car. Get a couple of boxes to hld the front of the lip up while bolted on the sides. Install some good 3m tape around the leading edge of the lip that will be touching the bottom of the bumper. Now slowly lift up and stick it making sure its aligned. Once that is done with a drill, make holes through the bottom of the bumper using the Lexon lip and a guide. Then finally use the bolt kit it brought to secure the lip in place. Shouldnt take more than maybe 30 min.

Those were probably the best mods that changed the look of the car completley. It gave the car a very aggressive posture.
