Haven't done it personally, but yes. Yesterday I compared head gaskets between vvti and non vvti and couldn't tell the difference. Just do what you normally would do on any other 1.5j build.
The vvti solenoid gets it's feed through the port that the non vvti has the pressure switch located at. They then used a newer style union bolt for the oil filter housing that is drilled/tapped to accept the pressure switch. People commonly use this union bolt when doing na/t conversions for a feed for the turbo.

^^^+1000000 That's correct and they drill and tapped all those block ,
Just like the water pipe on the driver side that goes to the oil cooler on the gte, it's already drilled and tapped on the ge so all you do is remove the allen bolt and screw in that fitting and you can use a tt stock oil cooler on the ge block.
same goes to the vvti like you where saying.
So what happens if you unplug the VVTi solenoid ? I am guessing it works like a normal car?

The vvti was a bit of a pain to set up and at first actually made the car run with less power. we had to have it come in early then drop off around 4/5k or it would just kill the power the car made but it all had to be configured on the ecu. It does have vvti for the lotus engine but it was different to how the vvti in the 1jz runs. With that turbo it was still super laggy not seeing boost until 3900/4000. Hopefully the gt35r will be a bit better being roller bearing and a smaller exhaust housing.

Its a lot smaller than in the picture. Also another thing i love. The 4 wheel traction control slip percentage is my stock volume *** and when you push the volume *** in (like you would to turn the radio on) that turns the launch control on. Makes things a lot neater and sexier.
Sorry missed a question as well. The exhaust is full 3" turbo back straight pipe just with a hks hipower back box.
