Default UCF20 build....

Thought I should start a build thread since I've trollin through here and have been using the info/knowledge I've found so I think I should give back what I've taken, so here goes...
Starting point

hey hey look what the man in the brown suit brought

and then these, 9.5 +12 and 10.5 +6 X 18...

doing some work..

225/35, 235/40's fitted!

here how is sat at this point......

Too high in the front but the exhaust was the problem so I did this..

before..

after...

So I lowered the front more so I did this

and this gave me another 1/2" or so....old on top new on bottom..

So now here's how it sits...

Did some much needed maintenance (PO obviously didn't do much...air filter wow) and changed the temp sensor (yes it help a lot)...vacume hoses fell apart, seemed like everything was so brittle..

couple more pic's...

I appreciate all the help from those of you who have posted up with great info I hope I can do the same....

Nice and clean build man. I like all the details you did just to make it all work out the best.

Are you having problems with the wheels hitting the front inner fenders?

Thanks guys! I cut the inner fender liners from about 10 o'clock to 2 making them two piece (just above the screw to secure it) and tucked the wire loom so I haven't had any rubbing, I do want to go about 1/2" lower in front but I'm already scraping the living hell out of the exhaust after the cats and dragging the tow hooks out of some driveways....so much fun!

Nice! I really like the outcome. I think we all 'start' with Eurolines.
If you need to get that exhaust up further check here: http://liberty-vip.com/2010/04/10/th...-we-do-it-004/

Thanks! yeah these wheels are a little played out (SSR Viennas) but I got a good price and the offset is smaller than my shoe size so I went for it, lovin the 18's for more low!

Nice job on the exhaust, very simple. I printed the page....need to get that done before I scrape thru....lost my round counter balance thingy this morning so I better hurry

Among all the other changes, the clear bumper lenses make a nice update. LED tails next?

I had a line on a set of LED rears but it fell through, they are so pricey I think I'll wait since I need to do the exhaust first anyway.

My next or soon as possible plans are skid plate, exhaust (the mod up front after the cats then delete everything and do a single back to one muffler) or thats the plan......I've been following this build (I know I need to do my own thing) it's just so clean and functional. I daily this car so his mods are perfect for that........ Here's the link hope it works.
