i didn't mean to offend you by calling you a n00b, but "YOU NEED A TURBO TIMER. THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT" just looks exactly like something i'd read on zilvia posted.
do you think that 25 year old T6 oil-only cummins diesel turbo you bought for your 1JZ ever had a turbo turbo timer used on it?

what's important is that the OP straightens out his wiring and gets his car running, not that he gets a turbo timer.

don't worry about littering. i would actually call this the opposite of littering.

Got all the AEM gauges wired through the A pillar. I used the three pod cluster holder from Advanced Auto Parts. It is a size 52mm. I had to cut/trim one side to get it to lay flat and even. Worked perfect. One screw from the oh crap handle will hold it in place while you run the wires and get it ready for the gauges itself. I will get some plastic screw caps in black tomorrow to finish securing it to the pillar.

very nice turbo. i personally would have gone one size smaller on the turbine housing (i'd rather have your turbo on a 2j) to make it less laggy, but that will make some good power.

What octaine grade do u have over there mark? I can get some 94 over here. Does make a big difference. Also I just did an alt swap on my rb(fitted a minivan amp on it with 10 more wats than oem). You think we could do the same with the jz? I'd pefer a bigger alt versus running 12 volts to the fuel pump for better performance.
