I think it was at the auto zone on memorial a couple times and I saw it at IA summer meet once. Sorry for the thread jack Mark. Good thing is I guess you can clean up your own thread haha.

yeah i used to work at that autozone on saturdays, and i did some wiring/ems work for Carma.

Update.....

Aaron personally called me and told me that my standalone was ready and will be shipped out today. Thats awesome. I also ordered the AEM boost control solenoid with the proper fittings. Their customer service is awesome. Maybe cause i spent in the thousands. Lol. I hope it will be here on wednesday or thursday. Stay tuned folks.......

so will this honda aem box do everything a normal aem will do? would it control a toyota trans?

As far as I know, it should control everything. Had to solder two wires from the 1JZ harness to the R154 to get the reverse lights working. That is mentioned in the thread. I also had to buy a VSS, due to the R154 being a cable driven, and the SC are sensor driven. That is also mentioned in the thread. To answer your question, it should everything I want and then some....


My 8.7 spring came in today from Ebay for the wastegate,and the Kesun 9006 HID kit come in. It took about 5 minutes to hook up, due to everything being off the front... I am very pleased for the 87 bucks I spent off of Amazon.. Much better than before... Now I need to find some for the running lights. aka.. fog lights in the front bumper. If someone knows please post up. I will install the spring tomorrow.

Update. The vinyl wrapped lip turnex out great. Been working on my deck last few days. Man,what a job. More stuff came in the R154 driveshaft finally. Here are some pictures..

so have you ran this kit before?? i got a ddm kit and i wasn't impresed at all. iam gonna need a quality 10-12k kit here soon.

1992, what heat/color bulbs did you get?

i just got some 4300k and they are awesome. so clear at night -- i had 6000k on previous cars and they were too blue. i've heard anything above 6k just hurts visibility.

The kit was 6000k size 9006, straight plug and play, bought from Amazon...My buddy had them in his 98 SC. I fell in love with them. Sorry no update. I have never used these before but i like the way they are made. They seem legit. They look very close to my BMW 330i xenon lighting in my book. I need to find the same lighting for the fog light conversion size 1156 bulbs.


Here are some major parts that has come in....


AEM V2 standalone from DM, AEM boost control solenoid... :-0




ACT stage 4 from DM




And my painter came through for me again.





I am going to install the clutch, tranny, add fluid, bleed the clutch, install driveshaft, and possibly make the 4 inch DP tomorrow. Stay tuned. Major pieces are in.......

Does anyone know the size/length of the four bolts that mates the front driveshaft to the rear portion? I need to pick these up on the way home. Thanks...

Every toyota RWD or 4wd uses those bolts and nuts.

can't wait to see the install of the driftmotion AEM install.

my purchase hinges on how much power u make with this setup. since i have everything u have sans the cam shafts.
