My shifter was extended , but i don't have any issues my trans right now " knock on wood' it's been great to me.
Like stockhatch said you need to redo the shifter extension part. That's your problem right there.

Thanks for the kind words. I will be sourcing the Soarer extension housing part in the classifieds now. The SC is going to the shop tomorrow for the A/C work and charge. I hope they will find no problems. I did replace the expansion valve, receiver/dryer, and all the lines from the firewall with new orings. Should be good to go. I did notice in other threads some are having to put in a relay for the compressor to turn off and on. I will know more tomorrow. I finally talk to the tuner an downer at Zen Motors yesterday. The tune is scheduled for 25th of June.

Went to the ac shop this morning and waited about three hours for them to charge and pull a vacuum ... Went into the AEM and turned the switch to find out the patch harness didnt have any wires for the ac trigger or the clutch. we trouble shooted the wiring and figured i need to run the wires myself and assure it works by the button on the LCD. He did jump the relay and tested the AC and it blew ice cold, which is good. I will try to tackle this when my new HKS turbo timer comes in. I also notice the driveshaft is getting louder and louder, imo. I really dont think the tranny is doing this but the noise from whining is getting worse. I wonder if the driveshaft bearing is bad. Or something else, its getting old very quickly. Any ideas?
My buddy and I went and looked at a Toyota Supra with a 2jzge single turbo tonight. It was black on black with the W58 and a piggyback setup. I was very impressed.with the power and the instant torque. He ended buying for 15,500. Its a 1995 with factory TT wheels... It makes me wonder to sell this thing and buy a Supra.

Update on the AC. I found out you need pin labeled A17 and A27 for this to work correctly through the AEM. The white wire on the 1JZ harness goes to pin A17 on AEM, and the blue/white wire goes to the A27 on the AEM. You can also adjust the settings in the AEM for when to turn on and off. Go under the tab labeled TOOLS, the Configure Settings. Go from there. My idles pretty smooth, but will mo better once tuned at the end of this month.

so does the AC kick on with the a/c button now?
it only passes through the ECU so it can raise the idle to make up for the extra load and turn off the compressor when you're in high RPMs.
mark, trenton just bought a 97 silver supra (NA) for 12000...
no thanks... i think i'd rather have a rowdy single turbo 6spd SC300 for the same price, and way smoother.

Only over a week away for the big moment. Man this thread is insanely long, but overall great info. I am still waiting on the valve cover to be redone with a new fitting. Hopefully it will be by this weekend. I have an appointment with the dent people to remove all the small dents and dings on Tuesday.
About the tune, I will post the video on here at the end, but with it being so long, I will create a new thread on the dyno pull.
