Man I appreciate it man. Means a lot when a fellow SC member is in time of need. This is what they have checked as far as I know. The have replaced the coils, new plugs gapped at .028, replaced igniter, measured the resistance across each injector, checked fuel pressure regulator. They first checked the Wastegate spring and found it to be the correct size for my boost level, then they found a small tear in the diaphragm. Then the tuner started messing around with the AEM, the surging started, then had a coolant line come loose and spraying everything. Fixed that with a new clamp, it was the one by the oil filter and housing. Started troubleshooting all the wiring and taking notes. Told them that the injectors were wired in batch mode, 1-4,2-5, and 3-6. They double checked that and said that was an issue. They redone them to sequential mode by the recommendations of the tuner. Still surges. I am freaking clueless, all show and no go. The highlight of the day was I got to ride in Dans IS 300 with a fully built 2jz and 14 pounds of boost. It was crazy at low boost. The mechanics were still working on it at 830 tonight and tracking down each wire and elimating all the sensors. Luckily they have several 1jz motors and spare parts.

If there is anything else , please chime in. I even told them about the welded piece that I done on the bottom gear where the timing belt goes.

Hey Mark, sorry to hear of all the tuning troubles. I hope the tuner gets it figured out before you have to head back to Alabama. Which shop is tuning your car, Balanced Performance? They tuned my 2GS Na-T and did a great job. That's the shop I was telling you about when we were chatting at the Luxury Car meet at Stone Mountain. I was running a map ecu tho, not AEM. Who's tuning your car btw? (the actual tuner)

The other problem is that it is hitting like the rev limiter at around 4k and sonetimes where the aem is set at 7200. I was ready to burn it two months ago and i am at that point again. It has never done the rev limit till now.

The tuner is actually at Zen Motors. His name is Collin. He is a mechanical engineer. Very intelligent guy when it comes to this sorta thing. Once this is tweaked and ready the car will be driven over to Lethal Injection for the actual dyno. I hate i have saved the money to make the trip, hotel costs, food, gas, new tires for the trailer I borrowed, and now the issues. It looks like it will not be going back with me tomorrow unless a miracle happens before 3pm. I will leave it and let Dan and his crew figure it out. Wont do me any good sitting in the garage trying to find something that i have no clue about . On the bright side, my buddy is getting his SC redone also at Zen Motors with a v160 and a one piece driveshaft. He told me to go by there and get his soarer R154, bellhousing, Spec stage 5 clutch, and his complete driveshaft. He told me I could have it. He is a very good friend of mine.

Update guys. It was a bad map sensor. Theyt installed a legit GM 3 bar map sensor. One turn of the key and crackapow, we have ignition. So after the troubleshooting, the map and crank sensors were bad. They finishing up the wiring now. Then to the DYNO.. We have it reserved!!!!!

What map sensor did you use before? I got the AEM 50psi map sensor. Screwed it right into the plenum.
