Just added my second get out of speeding ticket asset to the car. The first thing is my firefighter tag. I wired this in to the rear view mirror wire and wolla, working Beltronics radar detector. The wiring for the radar, red is power, green is ground. Wiring on the mirror, red is positive, and white is ground. This is a constant 12volts, which is not a big deal to me. Sits perfect. I added some velcro to make sure it didnt rattle, and to my surprise it didnt. Nice new addition to the car... Out of sight out mind.
I also had some trouble with the front lip. The vinyl wrap got damaged by loading it on the car. I decided to remove the wrap all together, it was pealing off anyway, and sprayed it with SEM black Landau.. It almost looks flat black, but we will see how well it holds up.. Touch up will be easy tho!!!!
Thats a bug that got smashed!!! Its already dirty.. Been driving around the whole day today, its gorgeous here in Bama!...

Those are coming, I promise. I have guy here local that has a 240 S13, that has a Skyline motor. unknown of the fuel, pump, turbo size, etc. I did get the opportunity to ride in it, it pulled quite well. He has outran a lot of cars here with over 500-600 plus hp cars. i think it will be a close race, but i might have an edge on the top end on him. Mine pulls really hard midrange to uptop, imo. Lastly, my speedomoter needle has quit working. it is at Lextech getting fixed. shoukd be back in a few days, hopefully. I will post up a short video when i get the needle installed and fixed. Dont want anyone making fun of the cluster. lol or guessing how fast we are going. i do know it is about 15 mph off, reading slow.

My headunit has gps in it that gives me an accurate reading. I also might change it out to a manual SC300 cluster, for a more accurate reading. They have been off ever since I changed the needles with Lextech Lighting. I just drive it normal until I feel the need for speed!!!

Hahaha, well the manual cluster would be a good investment. I always hated having the speedo off in my old cars that I had, but if you have the GPS, then I guess I wouldn't be rushed into getting it fixed soon either. And I can't wait for the vids! I rode in my friends 1JZ Cressida the other night, and I for some reason have fallen in love the 1J's. They sound great and pull hard.

The DP was already made for a Precision turbo. I had to call Raceparts solutions to get the correct v band flange for the DP. I then had to ask a buddy to come over and measure the pieces and then weld on the new flange. This allowed the old dp to work with the new flange I bought ... the last thing i did was used dei wrap to cool more effectively ...
