Thanks guys!!! If I have ordered the center caps sooner. I could have finished them today... I may try to alter the new ones and see if I can come up with a new idea for fitting these emblems differently. Worse case I will follow the DIY on here. The only thing different is that I had a extra set of flush Nissan center caps, but these had holes in them, but I didn't have to grind down the Infinity emblem.

mark this thing is looking awesome. i bet you're ecstatic!

also, a recommendation, since you're already in there, i would paint the hats of those rotors so they don't rust. i know this thing lives in the garage, but any rust showing up on the rotors makes me sad.

man, this car really looks awesome.

Thanks guys! Cartmill I did think of that. I am going to do that when I finish the center caps. When I painted the calipers, I also cleared them with high temp paint. Let's see how long that last. I actually drove it to the store last night for the first time in four days. Man it just rides so much better with the rims and tires, so much lighter and absolutely no shaking, shimming, or vibration. Finally rides flawless.

I am now looking for a set of TT rear calipers. My buddy Lo also called me a few days ago and said he found me a set of stainless steel lines for the front. He did say the only problem was that it was going to be two weeks before they come in. I am not in no rush for them, for those of you who don't know Lo, he is the guy who I bought the rims , 1JZ and the R154. Stand up guy!!!

More progress of the wheels. Never guess what come in the mail today? Thats right, the center caps from Ebay.

I did my method a little bit different. I used a 1/16 size drill bit to make my holes. Its the the perfect thickness for the plastic tabs to go in. Another note that needs to be mentioned, be careful when you do this cutting and drilling out, cause it will possibly cut into one of the tabs that holds the metal clip on, other than that it is straight forward. Here you go. i also used VHT to match the emblems on the car and have had great success with it.

I also used super glue on the back/inside the caps to hold the plastic prongs on. I even put a little bit around the metal clip to help/assist to hold it in place a little better. I think it turned out well.

I would say something, but I just end up drooling on myself every time you add something new.

Great job with the center caps those G35 Rays look as if they came from the Lexus factory themselves.

I'm definitely jealous. ^_^
