There is an unwritten rule about continually posting pics without new additions. I don't refer to it because I have a problem with more pics....I do it because I want to see the car evolve.
Reminds me of myself.
My early years the mods were music, tint and interior mods. Expensive hubcaps and wider tires as well.
I started wheels with upsizing to 17's.
Then to 18's and promised to never go higher.
Then to 19's and swore that would be it.
Then I lowered the car and kitted them.
Finally made it to 20's and the only thing keeping me there is 21's are too big for the GS. But 20's are best for it. I swore I wouldn't overdo the GS like the previous cars. Once I saw others do kits I realized how nice the car looked that way. So I did it and glad I did.

I'm just trying to reveal the power of the dark side of the force.

Until then, post as many pics as you want, that's how it was for me. I have a ton of pics. After a while I got tired of shooting the same ol same old. Looking for different locations got old. It was the car itself that needed to grow. The dark side has wonders the Jedi could only dream of.

After we saw VIP460L's post in the Vossen thread we went straight to Fleabay and picked this set up for $39 and I decided the best way to run them was with a 12v accessory remote module for $15 on Amazon..I played around with different ways to mount them but as you can see the edges work almost perfectly with the fogs and the inside LED bar almost lines up with the inside edge of headlight to try and keep the "L Finesse" theme going lol..these look bright in daylight and look amazing during PLT...park light time of the day (dusk and dawn) haha

This is in work also, in fact it was supposed to be done this weekend but the place that did them for another member here in ATL could not do it on Saturday because the tech is no longer working there..so, maybe when Shimbumi1 is up here in ATL, I can just pay him to do it lol...the way he personally did his setup is nice because the fogs are truly independent using the factory switch without parks or headlights needing to be on.

I think it looks great but after the years and years on the GS forum we had so many member who had electrical issues with their 3GSs after the started playing with the bulbs that it turned me off to these types of mods. I think the car looks great but I am concerned about gremlins popping up

These LEDs do not interface with existing harnesses except for the battery and a ground. I can see the fog light mod would being a little risky if done bootleg..but good points

cool . Its looks great the way they have the more modern looking LEDs. So does this mean that your fogs dont work now or will all 4 and the headlights go on?? Watch out for the cops if they are super bright

My fogs work just fine..I want them to eventually be independent so I can just run those whenever without the headlights but the LED DRLs can be turned on/off at anytime via the remote key fob

so does this mean that they dont go on with the normal lights when triggered or do you have to use that key fob thing I saw in the video?

Everything with the headlights and fogs are 100% OEM, nothing has changed there. I DO want to make it so the fogs are independent, but that is something for down the road.

The LEDs are completely independent and wired to a 12v Remote Module that gets power directly from the battery and of course a ground. Very basic wiring 101. I do want to re-wire the remote module so it gets power from one of the courtesy 12v sources like a door or dome light because I want them to shutoff if I accidentally leave them on with the car off. But, to turn them on or off, I use one of the remote key fobs that came with the 12v remote module kit. On Button, Off Button...I like it because I can be over 100ft away and activate them like when walking up to car at night or just to show off the lights lol
