Default My 02 SportX Mini-Budget Build

Hey CL...

Kinda got bored with my DD Sportcross being bone stock. So I'm doing some basic, simple, and cheap mods to make my commuter car more fun and better looking...

Keep checking back, cause I'll be adding pics periodically.

Positive and Negative comments are welcomed.

Okay so Wheels done, so i turned my attention to the sidemarkers

Bad idea!!!

I used that VHT Nightshades spray tint, but it leaked through the tape and onto the car... (more on that later)

Onto the pics:

In this pic you can see where the VHT leaked through

I wish i woulda taken more pics but the VHT leaked through the tape all the way around the the sidemarkers on all 4 sidemarkers!!!

That **** is hard to get off:
Paint thinner doesnt work, Goof off doesnt work
the only thing that worked was heavy duty rubbing compound and Steel wool and a lot of elbow grease
(it doesnt help that i couldnt get the rears off)

So to cheer myself up (after my mishap) i decided to Plastidip my door handles

Oh, and here is how the wheels look on the car, door handles Plastidipped, and De-Striped
