Toyboxx's Build Thread

I would love too, but I can't pass up this deal on the shocks & struts. I'm getting them off a memeber from here, but I also got a buddy who has an SC400 and he will buy anything off my car, so I can make my money back when I sell them too him to buy some coilovers.

Thank you! It's all thanks to this forum & a few others. I'm a bit of a Herraflush fanboy, but once I'm boosted I'll put some meatier tires and raise it a bit so its more performance capable.
Thanks, just an old Mexican couple that didn't know what they had. Granted it still needs some work, which of course I knew ahead of time. But I know it will all be worth it in the end.
Thank you thank you! Can't wait too actually start building it once I'm done doing basic maintenance, and watch my car fully progress. It will always be a project in my eyes, I don't think I'll ever truly be finished with it.

Hey guys just wanted to give a quick update of how SChelly is doing.
So after I got it, within the first week I did maintenance, and cleaned the headlights with 3M Headlight Restore. Stuff works magic, definitely worth the $30. Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the process, but it does take about an hour and a half.
About a month or so later, I decided to spray my turn indicators yellow with Yellow Krylon Stained Glass Paint, cost about $15 at Michael's. It does the job well, I didn't exactly do to good of a job with prep, but regardless came out well. Few drips here and there, nothing exactly noticeable.
After Pic
Then after doing that a couple weeks later I came across a thread where someone painted their '92-'94 tails. Gave me inspiration to do this. I used VANS Red Plastic Spray Paint, got it off eBay for $30.
Before
After
Sooo...I drove it around like that for awhile till about the beginning of this month, I bent a whole slew of suspension components when I hit a curb.
Did this to my wheel
My Power Steering Rack
Bent Passenger Strut
So it was time to upgrade a bit. Bought some TT Polished Wheels for $300 (F) 245/40/17 (R) 255/40/17. Shout out to Raffi at Full Race for hooking me up with these!
After
Still a lot of positive camber and toe in.
Bent one strut, so why not upgrade all of them? Megan EZ Streets $682.99 dropped shipped to my door from Megan Racing's warehouse.
And I used this DIY to do the coilover install.

And here's the finished product. Got her done yesterday.

However SChelly is still undriveable till I get the power steering rack installed with the new tie rod ends
Thanks for looking

Sweet job! When your ready to do the LS400 BBK up front let me know. I have a nice set of LS400 calipers for sale. Great bang for the buck mod. Might just help you from hitting curbs again! email if interested: draytonwebb@yahoo.com
