I spoke with my lawyer the other day about this setup. He stated that since I have my conceal carry and limo tint that this setup with the gun magnet is considered concealed.
So, legally I'm ok. Thank goodness.

That sounds sketchy as hell.
Limo tint is illegal and from everything I've read, the clip is not supposed to be in the gun.
With that said, if I were a cop, pulled you over.. I wouldn't be able to see inside your car til you put the window down and if I saw that gun right there... I'd freak the **** out and pull mine out without hesitating. Just seems like it's inviting trouble.
Either way, I like how it's mounted, but dunno if I'd wanna have it there when I have passengers in the car in addition to the scenario above.

Carlos the clip can be in the gun as long as u got a permit which in this case he has one, and i have a permit myself. I have mine loaded at all times.

Carlos, limo tint in my situation isn't illegal if you have a medical condition requiring prescription window tint. Which I do

You could be born with a eye disease like me... Or my buddy who had a gas grill flame up on him and burned his retina. So he also got prescription window tint.
cool mount for the gun but forbid you get in an accident i wouldnt want a loaded gun flying around my cabin!! So In the holster mine would remain..
O it's not like a magnet you see on refrigerators.... It's very strong. However, a holster with a strap that goes over the gun would be far more secure I agree.
I got this for easy access to my gun though. I travel to sketch neighborhoods often for work and not having to worry about a holster with a strap or it being in my glovebox is what I wanted.
