Thanks for the compliments guys. I have a ton of little projects going on in this car. Stay tuned for more pics. Adding battery to trunk, finish deadening doors, etc....... It never stops.

Knew eventually that I'd be replacing my fuel pump. Had dynamatted over it along with foam and MLV. Decided I better do something about it. Cut out foam and dynamat and made a flip cover out of the foam. Worked out great.

Door speaker finally installed. Used an XTC baffle that I cut for water control. This is about as good as your going to get the 6-1/2 aligned in the factory speaker opening.

Drivers door finally done. Basically the Morel speaker is encased in acoustical foam and sealed to the door panel. There is no where for the speaker to fire except through the factory grill. The best pic I forgot to take of the 3/4" foam around the speaker attached to the door. The foam on the door panel then presses against the foam attached to the door. You can also see the holes I added to the factory grill. Hopefully pics show some of that. I'll take better pics of the passenger door. Drivers side door sounds fantastic and no vibrating of door panel. I may end of leaving them like this.

Ended up taking my door panel off again to fix a problem. The drivers side rubber boot had a tear in it. that connects the door and the car. Couldn't live with that. Had another boot so I had to pull all the connectors off and then repin. Was not a lot of fun. Took some pics of the door speaker and the amount of foam I used to seal the door.

Hey man awesome work. I have also been planning on putting mlv over the backseat to quite down the fuel pump. I did dynamat that section but you can still hear it. Not as much as before, but the noise still there.

Worked on passenger door today and took pics. These give you a better idea of what I did. Notched sheet metal with HPDE baffle to move speaker as far right as possible. Seams done with butyl rope inside and out and then all covered with second skin sound deadener.
