Soo Gents... Today I purchased some Schneider 264 cams from a CL member new unused in the box for a good deal..

Cant wait to get these bad boys in...

Will also be changing the Head gasket to a TT from the Cometic 2mm as it causes some lag..

Nice car ! Those TT wheels in chrome are so hard to come by.

How is MT-90 with the R154 or W58 ? Transmission gurus adviced against it if you had the the V160 6speed TT transmission .

^^^^ Haha next time i won't put PM sent. No i had no problem putting it in. you can just take off the shifter bezel and then undo the four bolts that would the shifter and take a small flat head and pry the plastic one out and put a new one in same goes for the socket.

So yesterday was really slow here at the shop so I decided to tackle the Marlin shift bushing, MT-90 gear oil etc...

Had to drop the rear tranny bracket to get to the shifter housing from the top... Thank god for having a lift and being able to move up and down at will... Got the old out, cleaned and put new gasket, FIPG, and 4 new oem bolts as well..

Im really bad about taking pics while working on car.. I guess I get to involved haha

Ayway.. Bushing really made a world of difference... but smoother shift now!

is your r154 notchy? Sometimes i feel the gears when shifting. Just wondering if its normal. Sometimes it shifts really smooth other times I can feel the gears going to each other. It is filled with redline mt-90. It doesn't make any noises or anything.
