theres only one bad thing to solid rad hoses.......... granted its minor and many other things will get F'd up in the process. Buddies car got hit up front.. nothing crazy, totally fixable, but instead of the rad moving, the solid upper rad hose actually destroyed his aluminum rad.. Couldve been a freak accident who knows the way it happened.. I know i want a solid upper for mine but i just keep thinking about the damage it caused

I just recently sold the same 97 platinum silver sc300 with 2jzgte swap. Your thread makes me want to build another one ASAP. Your attention to detail on this build is superb.

I did the same thing with the 550cc injectors, resistor, USDM cams and turbo's. I also installed a stock TT maf sensor and ran a stock TT ecu. The car had much better A/F readings at WOT and at idle and partial throttle. It is easy to wire up if you are too rich with only the map sensor. I would think that the mines ecu is chipped for the 550cc injectors and can handle the task.

Yeah I have no problem at all with running rich. At WOT throttle it rarely ever get's below 11 on the AFR gauge.
