Hi Everyone,

Finally found some time to make a build thread.

Purchased this LS460 a few months ago. Everything has been kept stock so far. Our body kit and wheels are on its way from Japan so we should have some constant updates next month. Our goal is to finish the first phase of the build just in time to showcase at TORC in May and Wekfest LA in June.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic! Car in it's stock form.

Picked up a black fusa and gold kintuna from Junction Produce during our Tokyo Auto Salon trip.

More updates and pictures to come!

-Kenneth

Okay, I'm really looking forward to following this thread.

I have to ask, what the h3ll is the deal with all of this fusa and kintuna junk? It looks like a silly rope tied into a pretzel, and reject tassel off of a graduation cap? What's the point, and why do so many of you get these? They probably aren't cheap either. I don't like the looks of them, but that doesn't matter, it's not my car! I don't care if you hang fuzzy dice off the mirror, it's your baby. I just wondered if someone could clue me in on what they're for? Is it the Japanese version of fuzzy dice?

they're variants of traditional good luck rope knots in japanese culture -- people hang them for good luck and protection. junction produce just repurposed them into an expensive car accessory haha

So it is a lot like a set of dice, or a lucky shamrock. The other is for protection, we might hang a revolver, or some other thing there. I don't like anything cluttering my windshield, but that's me. I think its neat that other people dig'em.
