lmaol ... .. you will be one of them .. keep an eye on three gauges so I don't have to carry 12 people.

Man... get that thing installed on your laptop. I will teach you whatever I know and have learned about tuning a car. It ain't that hard with AEM trust me. I just got my proEFI and here I am scratching my head , finding my way around

That looks good.. thanks for the idea. I am decided though to install permanently one of my old laptops which is black in color to complement the black interior. So, just like you said, I would get one on Amazon for a laptop. The laptop would be more useful for me and serve more purposes. I already have also its power supply which connects to the lighter. It supports a bigger screen than the tablet. The keyboard which I will need is there . I will more likely tinker with the ECU or go to the NET every now and then. And the best of all , I would be able to put into use something that I should have disposed some time back . I would just have to choose a stand that would be asthetically good so it won't look like a eye sore inside the car and at the same time it will hold that laptop firm when you accelerate hard. No one will ever ride with me on this car anyway , at least not a family member ....so it won't bother anyone on the passenger seat.

Just tried my new dashboard ... added warning lights so I know in what mode is my Weldon 2345a fuel pump in, either in CRUISE or KILL Mode , my radiator fans in LOW or HIGH mode . You notice that some blacked face gauges have their numbering scales in red ? The gauges serves as warning also if their values are lower than the warning values you have set, they turn red.... cool !

NGK 4644 .... They are cheap and works fine for me. Boost may play a role on the gap of your plugs. Right now I am running below 20 psi and my engine is happy with my plugs gapped at .028

This is what I have learned about plugs :

The bigger the gap, the bigger the spark and the better the burn. In short , gap them until you don't have any misses.

With a wider gap , the spark will be a strong one thus giving you a cleaner burn but the plug may not always fire on each cycle especially on higher speeds thus you have those misses. On the other hand too narrow a gap , your spark maybe too small or weak to ignite the fuel but you have the best chances that the plug always fires on each cycle.

Damn Gerry, you have a lot of gauges. Now, get your widebody done, I'm excited too see it.

From what car are those pillar gauges?

Well, car still looks the same as it is on page 1 of this thread Mark . I will get good pictures when it is newly painted . I am not doing much on the exterior. It will be as stock as it can be except for a good paint job ... sleeper !!! A sleeping dragon .. or rather a sleeping red mamba .

That is why I would like to have my old laptop permanently in the car on a stand so I can do away with those gauges maybe. I can monitor more info on the laptop dashboard and change parameters anytime I want. Those pillar pods are just from Advance Auto Parts. I am not a baller like you Dennis . I can settle with cheap but functional stuff as long as they serve my purpose and they last long.

Wide body project .. ... shoot , for now I don't want to worry about it . A lot of work on that car . We will see how it goes as time pass. If this red mamba took more than a year .. maybe that project 10 years..

You misunderstood, I like the gauges.
Think of it this way, you have unlimited budget as fas as I know. You don't work anymore and you have so much time on your hands.I'm totally the opposite, If I have time and money I would be in my garage 24/7.

Get it done Gerry!

I miss working in the corporate world. I would soon go back doing consulting or do something at least , am getting bored. I don't want to be blowing away all my savings on cars and not making any. Damn I still have at least 40 or maybe 50 years to live .. hahaha..Talking about having reached 50 years old .. shoot , I may get a surprise soon .... give you a clue .. Alpha Omega . In exchange I might have to loose one of my supra . Mark and Rey , if you read this , you better keep your mouth shut !

Was playing about the gauges... I like the looks of having many gauges but the most important one , the wideband is laying around. It hasn't been mounted yet.

Decided to paint the housing of the turbo timer black since my interior is black and let's see how it looks when done and assembled back together.
