This afternoon I tore into pieces the 1uzfe engine / transmission .. so you my friends (you know who you are) who need SC400 parts just let me know and you get your car on the road again. I still have lots of stock SC300 parts too both engine/body and interior parts. I am posting on craigslist free parts section the 1uzfe longblock , 2jzge head / intake , supra mkiv subframe (same with SC) so I can remove some clutter around my place right away.

Just tried blowing away all those leaves and dirt off the engine bay and did some wiping on the passenger side since that it the only time I had ..lol.. ordered some 3K3 Garnet Pearl Paint so I can spray the engine bay after cleaning it and probably would tuck the wires under the fender to make it look cleaner.

I will be using the 2jzgte Aristo harness with the SC300 harness to create my harness I will need on this swap. I couldnt use the jdm 6 speed supra 2jzgte harness that came with engine swaps since I need one that will control my Boost Logic Auto Transmission so I have to go with the 2jzgte Aristo for the ECU and SC300 harness for the body plugs. Aristo harness needs to be lengthened too by around 15 inches .

For the ECU plugs both 40 pins & 80 pins , if you will be using a JDM 2jzgte ECU this should be your pins setup which for me will be the case since I am using a JDM swap without the MAF and be running stock to start with then switch to proEFI when everything is running well to take advantage of flex fuel / E85 or maybe the new AEM Infinity-10 if it is out by the time I need one.

Now for those who are using a USDM 2jzgte motor from the mkiv, here are your pins setup for the 40 and 80 pins plug ,

You will need the SC300 / SC400 Service Manual where you will find all the electrical diagrams so you can graft together the SC body plugs wiring with the 2jzgte Engine / Ecu plugs wiring. Got a copy if anybody need one.

The idea is , if you use the SC300/SC400 harness as your starting point , you will take out those wirings/plugs that control the 2jzge engine... and graft the Aristo 2jzgte wiring that controls the engine. OR , if you will use the Aristo 2jzgte harness as your starting point , you will keep only the wiring that control the 2jzgte engine and graft the SC300/SC400 wirings that goes to the body plugs... remember with the aristo harness , those wires needs to be extended around 15 inches.

Good for your buddy ! Let me know the details . I can make use of one on my 1997 SC400 6 speed 2jzgte swap , if I still have the money by then to fund that build...lol.

Just wondering who did use the same SC400 radiator , SC400 shroud and hydraulic fan on their 2jzgte swap. Where did they connect those hydraulic hoses. I thought I read on an old thread Dr. Tweak in one of his swaps used the SC400 hydraulic fan. I wonder where the hoses were connected into the engine.

Anyway, got an Supra MKIV NA radiator and shroud which is basically same as that of the SC300.

Here trying to fit the NA shroud into the SC400 radiator but then you will need its external overflow tank to be mounted somewhere .. hhhmmm

Either of the SC400 or SC300/MKIV NA radiator will work for me .

Damn , while working around the shroud , broke it in two places. This thing is so flimsy and easy to break so be careful .

Put some tape on the seen side so I can apply heavy duty liquid nail on the underside. It will take time to cure but will surely hold it. Then I will apply some filler and paint it.
