I have these Brand New 3 piece Weld 15x10 for Supra Fitment 7.5 BS which were meant for the 1997 SC300 5 speed which I am now selling as bare shell. I believe 3 SCs for me are enough. I was intending to install MT ET Streets 325/50R15 . I was reserving them for that car since my other 3 SCs all have drag radial sets for them already. It takes a month to get this from Order since they have to custom make them. They are not stocked items. Costs $531 each
Amazon.com: WELD RACING 791P-510214 15x10 Weld Star 5x4.5 BC 7.5BS: Automotive Amazon.com: WELD RACING 791P-510214 15x10 Weld Star 5x4.5 BC 7.5BS: Automotive
. Will let them go for $450 each if someone is interested otherwise again, they will end up in one of my cars.

will do Junan so be ready always with the funds. IF I were you and I know you have the funds, get a Soarer 1JZGTE with R154 swap on the net now... you got a robust tranny and the engine will hold the power you are aiming for . Less work also for you then boost away , enjoy You are not aiming for a lot of power after all.

After tracking my FIPG shipment , it should arrive today and should be able to fully close this engine today and bolt all accessories and get this bad boy ready to rock and roll

I have done a lot of internet searching last night and am positive that the +1mm size intake and exhaust valves I have on the head of this engine are Ferrea Competition +1mm . Knowing also whom I was told built this engine , that well known motorsports company prefers Ferrea stuff in their built heads.

Valves found on the head of this engine :

Ferrea Compettion Valves in at least four different 2jzgte heads I found on the net :

funds are there, i will just negotiate with the seller and see what i can come up with. the 1jz router is a muchhhh cheaper option, i could go that route, if i found a good deal on it. its a very old engine, probably with a good amount of miles on it, and since i wont be opening it up, it's only worth not too much money, to me at least... now the R154 tax... let's not get into that. can't believe a trans of that nature is that expensive when i got my CD0009 for 200 bucks. lol

^^^ And how much are you gonna spend to get everything for that CD009 totally installed and running in your SC ? The work you need to do ? At times we don't consider and put $$$ amount on the time and work / effort we put into something.Let's say you are getting a 1JZ with auto.. how much ? $1200-1400 shipped ? ... a Soarer 1JZ with R154 is what ? $3200 shipped ? So your Soarer R154 is $2000 more or less. You know you are spending way more than that on a CD009 install. An R154 would be drop in if you get the right R154. CD009 ... quite a work. And your power goals are just within what the stock Soarer 1JZ / R154 can do.

Not because you got a CD009 for $200, it will be a walk in the park and that is all you need to spend . BTW , what year / model of car did your CD009 come from ?

Remember .... you got to pay to play. If you want to play with these toys and be doing it like a broke *** kid, you might as well not play with them. They won't last long if you don't do it right. I have nothing against CD009. They have been proven to hold power. People are using them as alternatives to the almighty V160 getrag . I am just taking your argument on spending less with a CD009 compared to the Soarer R154 from factory which I don't believe it is.

Finally , this +1000rwhp capable bad boy is ready to rock and roll. It will be fitted with a 1100rwhp capable Precision PT-6870 Gen 2 Turbo that spools like crazy for the power it makes. No more laggy 1000hp turbos. I have this turbo in one of my 6speed MKIV and it is crazy . I am thinking, this 3rd SC should be my last so am seriously considering converting this Old Man's Tan SC into a 6 speed car since I have no manual SC but have 3 manual MKIV and 1 auto MKIV. I have two brand new V160 Getrag Transmission and two brand new 6speed Differential I bought from the dealership when I was given the tip that they were being discontinued. I can use one set on this car... move all the 97 sc300 5speed pedals on this car.

3 MKIVs and 3 SCs I believe are enough ... I am starting to have my wife on my tail now with regards my toys. She said , she sees no end on my projects , lmaol. I have yet to sell my fourth running MKIV and the MKIV shell and the 1997 SC300 5speed shell so I can appease her a bit, lol. It is kinda hard to let go at times when you get attached to something.

I still have one last engine to build though , whose rotating assembly is currently in the machine shop for balancing and block be lined honed for the billet mains. After that , enough building ... time to enjoy them more and more. All I will do is make my cars drink corn syrup , rather , burn E85 .... !

Goal for this engine I just finished is make 1000rwhp reliably . Engines Specs are the following :

Built 3.0 2JZGTE
- CP Pistons with upgraded wrist pins
- Crower Billet I-Beam Rods with upgraded 90827 Rod Bolts
- ACL Bearings
- ARP Head Studs
- ARP Main Studs
- Titan MotorSports Dampener
- Titan MotorSports Oil Pump
- Titan MotorSports Timing Belt Billet Tensioner
- Toyota Water Pump
- Toyota Head Gasket
- Gates Timing Belt

Built / Ported Head
- Crower 264 Camshafts
- Crower Springs
- Ferrea Competition +1mm Intake Valves
- Ferrea Competition +1mm Exhaust Valves
- Ferrea Valve Seals
- Ferrea Valve Locks

Others:
- 2433cc Siemens Deka High Impedance Injectors
- 1" ID fuel Rail (-10an on each end)
- Veilside Knock-Off Intake Manifold
- 100mm Throttle Body
- Boost Logic Exhaust Manifold
- Precision PT-6870 Gen 2 CEA BB Turbo
- 44mm Tial Wastegate (thinking of getting the manifold modified and use two 44 mm Tial Wastegate)

- Will be managed by a ProEFI ECU
- Will be fueled by 3 Denso TT pumps on a Fuel LOG through E85 friendly PTFE -10 lines.

Someone PMed me and asked me what is the reason why I was tearing apart the rare 1997 SC300 5speed and using its parts into my SCs instead of building it.

You see , all my other 3 SCs are all 1992. In GA, any 25 year or older cars do not need inspections or emission tests. So in the next 17 months my SCs will be exempted. I don't need any work arounds to keep them registered and enjoy them. Where as the 1997 , that is another 7 years before it is exempted. My toys will never pass emission / inspections. For me to get them into the RWHP level they are in, exhausts components have to be modified... huge downpipe / midpipe and no cat converters = fail .

So the 1997 SC300 5 speed bare shell is for sale. I don't feel like building another SC after this old man's tan project. it is only good for anyone with a 5 speed that was totaled or wrecked like one with bad quarter panels or has a salvage or rebuilt title . I am using the interior , body kit, lights and pedals , wiring , everything except bare rolling shell in my current project. It will be a 1997 in a 1992 body.

The 1997 has 115k on the cluster and has a clean title. You will have the rare 1997 SC300 5 speed ..though just a bare rolling shell . You will be paying a 1997 SC300 5speed tax , lmaol. I can trade also for anything that maybe useful to me for my toys.

Since my engine bay will somewhat have a black theme too.... interior of this Old Man Tan will be full black. It's gonna inherit the good interior from the Black Pearl.

Will slowly move black parts .. started with the passenger door.

From the factory I really doubt .

Seen one SC with a 1JZ / R154 with a full black swap while scouring the internet so I would see how it will look before I decided doing the interior swap.

Decided that I will give some love on the exterior of this car aside from it getting a really good black interior. A friend had an accident on his 97 car , rear ending somebody. He decided just to part out his car. So yesterday , I scooped the side skirts and rear bumper and decided they will go into this car. The door moldings my friend lilscteve wants them otherwise, I don't mind scooping them too for this car. I am keeping the front 95-96 bumper and am in search for a set of 95-96 tail lights so I have one of my SCs with that generation look though with side skirts and upgraded rear bumper.
