Thinking about it, once I am tired of these cars , a 6 speed MKIV will sell a lot better ,and even make money, compared to a 6 speed SC.

That means I am giving up the rare 1997 Lexus SC300 5 speed as a shell . Who ever is interested PM me. I will give someone a good deal on that rare shell . I will use the black interior though on the RSP SC so it won't come with interior. The car has 115k original miles on the body.
Just checking in, but I wish I hadn't. Think I'm going to be sick

It does suck, but at the same time when you sell and people don't want to get off the money, what are you going to do, seems like nowadays everyone wants to tell people what to do but not act on their own advice.

Keep doing what you do dude.

Really wish my funds were right, there's a few items I wouldn't mind freeing up from your hands.

hahaha... I know you are kinda right on that ^^^

But my buddy Aaron (geauxsimon) . When he wants something, he makes it happen. He is a very determined person. One of the few I met through this forum that does what he says. He doesn't play around.

I'm actually referring to other people that I've personally dealt with, I don't refer to posts online as something personal.

Well, no offense meant to anyone but you said the truth . A lot of people will comment on something being nice and buying one once available... but when it's available , you don't see them buying it. I have seen it myself many times. That is why I said only a few I know like geauxsimon who are true to their words and you can bank on.

Started working on the inside... cleaning things up . I want to comb through every part , nut and bolt of this car. Being a 24 year old car, there will items that would need attention and some surface rusts so I removed the dash bar .. sanded and painted it.

Just like Red Mamba One , I am using a 1997 Gauge Cluster on this 1992 car. Spliced the 1997 cluster connectors / wiring with the 1992 cluster connectors / wiring . I didn't take out the old connectors so I can use either cluster actually.

Decided to reinstall all the tan interior of the beige SC for now. It is not in the best condition I want it but will do for now. I will look for another salvage car with a lot better tan interior later. I cannot stomach tearing apart the 1997 SC300 5 speed just to get the other 3 1992s going . I still have another +1000rwhp engine I am building so I might as well install that engine and a 6 speed on that 1997.

So the 1997 SC300 5 speed is back to how it looked before I stored it into the backyard, original body kit , lights and interior intact....I tried and started moving the black interior into the beige SC but it hurts... . I didn't have the courage to continue. How the hell can someone cannibalize a RARE good looking 1997 SC300 5 speed ? What was I thinking ?

It will take time , but I will be true to my original plan for this car . It will have the best drive train / power train among my SCs ... who knows , I might even pull a stroker motor for this one together with the 6 speed. So back to square one on the Black Pearl ...

Hey Gerry, how did that Racetronix ptfe hose work out for you? Did you end up using that to plumb inside the tank for E85? Seems a bit narrow at only 8mm. I found another place selling the same thing but 3/8" ID but also 20 bucks a piece but at least you get clamps.

I didn't realize how short the piece of hose was that came with the pumps so trying to source other options. I did have the though of using nylon like GM does OEM. Only draw back there is it's quite difficult to get over the fitting and unless the barb to AN was a swivel type, be practically impossible to assemble.

I didn't use them on my first and second SCs because I had Weldon Pumps / Fuel systems on those cars. But am using them on this third SC ... 3 pumps supplying a fuel log then a -10an to the front.

I will only recommend multi-pump setup if you have a standalone that has safety features that monitor AFRs and Fuel Pressure so if one of the pump konks out on kill mode, you don't go lean. That is the problem with multi-pumps ... one going out can be disastrous.

The pumps though are

* cheaper than the Weldon Pump / Fuel Setup
* can stage them (turn them on) based on boost level
* not as noisy as big fuel pumps.

With 3 pumps , kinda tricky to set them.. you can only clamped the third pump inside the tank due to hat size opening at the rear seat backrest. With so much fuel flowing from the 3 pumps, I used both stock feed and return lines as the return for fuel to the slosh tank.

Gerry how are you keeping the pumps stable inside the tank are they just sitting in the slosh tank?

Ryan - for dual pumps, PHR sells a dual pump hanger. I am using 3 pumps so it won't work for me and besides if I can do it without spending a lot, then I will do it my way . I will never be able to maintain all my 2jzgte MKIVs and SCs if I have to get everything from a performance shop / store...hahaha . As long as my cars are reliable , I am good . My SCs are not show cars, they are sleepers. I will convert 2 of my MKIVs as show / flashy cars since both are making over +1100rwhp and +1200rwhp respectively. MKIVs , every where you go , you got everyone's attention.

This is how they will look inside the tank .. in a straight line . For now , I clamped the three just to show you how they would look like inside the tank. I have yet to get a rubber hose (GMC fuel hose from gas tank lid) so I can wrap the center pump and insulate it from the other two.

Just like I said , there is no way you can put those 3 pumps already clamped.. got to do two first , then clamped the third inside the tank.

There is ample room for the third pump infront

Note :

* Need to open the top hat so you can put both hands inside the tank , be able to maneuver better and clamp the third pump.

* The original feed line will be dumping back fuel into the slosh tank on top of the first pump .. together with the original return line. With 3 pumps feeding a lot of fuel on kill mode , having both stock lines as returns will help. There is no pressure on return lines after the regulator, after all.

* These 3 Denso TT Pumps should be able to support 1000rwhp on E85 but again multi-pumps for me should be run only with a good stand alone so if one konks out, your ECU knows and it will protect your engine from potential destruction. They will be wired independently with each one having it's own relay so I can turn each one through the ECU whenever needed.

* Those Racetronix corrugated PTFE hoses are E85 / alcohol friendly . Make sure any submerged hoses are E85 friendly if you are using E85.
