^^^ yes... freshened up my 2JZGE engine so it can be boosted anytime while I am gathering all the parts I really wanted for my 4th SC project. This block should handle +500rwhp anytime of the day. This is what I sent you a text message about.

Today I was in the mood to put together another 3.0 short block that could easily handle +1000rwhp . It has one of the best if not the best rods and pistons in the market. I don't need the block but I didn't want the parts to be laying around and start getting scuffs or scratches. I would sell this engine since I wanted a 3.4 stroker short block for my 4th SC project. To get all the parts of these short block and with the machine shop and assembly cost, you are easily looking at spending $7000. Will sell it for $3500 pickup only.

Here are the pictures of individual parts on the short block :

Short Block newly machined / bored to 86.5mm (.020) and honed . New freeze plugs installed also.

New Carrillo HD Rods with Carr Bolts and New CP Pistons with .230" Wall wrist pins (not the .200" they give when you request for upgraded wrist pins) with New Bearings balanced with the rotating assembly ... before Assembly with ARP Main Studs.

You see how stout those HD H-Beam Rods are ... Carillo HD Rods with Carr Bolts have always been used in +1500rwhp applications

for the 2JZGE block in the previous page ...yes.. all stock pistons , rods and crank except the ARP Hardware . Have no plans of spending more money on something temporary use just to get the car running. Though refreshing it , will allow me to easily boost it and be able to handle 500-700rwhp reliably.

the 2JZGTE built block on this page has aftermarket rods and pistons, one of the best if not the best rods and pistons in +1500rwhp 2jzgte engines.

Thanks! but no its not the V12..... just 400hp v8....

My friend had an AMG v12 and it was a nightmare!, they intentionally had the check engine light go off every 3,000 miles so they could inspect it.... or thats what they told my friend....

Not selling the GS, i have way too much money in it and its not worth much anyway....
2001 GS300 just hit 118,000 .... and I never do anything but change the oil and put gas in the thing... runs like a top.... which is why i have been hesitant on boosting it or putting in a GTE as its just so damn reliable....

Thanks Steve !

I have officially started my 4th 2jzgte SC Project today , which is the rare 1997 SC300 5 speed . I will inspect every inch of this car making sure there is no rust since this car used to be from Ohio. Although the car only has less than 120k miles on the body , since I am giving it one of the best 2jzgte / 6 speed power & drive train , I want to make sure that its body is in good shape.

To start with I power washed the engine bay to take out all the grease, grime and dirt. Then I will paint the engine bay .

After a few minutes of power wash / spray with just plain water .... much of the dirt , grease and grime is gone

That's where krishner got his car painted but he got a 2 stage paint .. they did a good job.

good price for the single stage. Paint is the least of my concern right now for my SCs. The right time will come when they will have a good paint job. I will either do it myself or get it done.

I find the black on black kinda boring ... no contrast. Besides , I already have a nice black interior on the Red Mamba Two

So I decided that being a black car , a clean black and tan combination will give it a sense of class of its own. Tan on Black gives a perfect contrast ... started on doing some changes on the 1997 5speed interior... no more boring all black ..

Nice

but I think the black on black looked better

but it is your car and as long as you are happy with the color, that's all that matters

thanks ... got tired of black .. It was beginning to get old on me since I already have an SC with full black interior in a lot better shape and besides I have a black on black supra mkiv.

I love the tan / black combination on a black car .. The picture makes the black on black look good but in person , tan and black combination on a black car is very classy .
