Will you be selling it with a stock 2JZGTE ECU?
it will be stock gte vvti ecu ..yes sir . Bring it anywhere and anytime , hot or cold weather , in the low lands or the fourteeneers of CO ...it will start and run well.

This car had grown on me . Decided to keep it after all and just gave what my buddy what he wanted from a part out. I already have done and spent a lot on it so it might as well stay in my barn together with my other horses unless I get an offer that is hard to refuse. Right now, I have converted it already on flex fuel. When I got it , it was making 620rwhp on a Dynojet (570rwhp on Mustang) but now with flex fuel , I was able to push that Borg Warner S366sx-e to 860rwhp ... perfect for a street sleeper that is very responsive with the turbo that is in there when it comes to spool . VVTi definitely helps down low . I was planning to install a fully built engine with billet mains and all top notch internal parts which I have built with a new turbo/induction system , but decided I will hold on the swap and play with the stock short block until it konks out on me that is if it will even happen. After all I don't abuse my cars so +850rwhp on it right now will last me quite a while. Eventually , once I have the engine swapped and put in a bigger turbo, I can push this thing to +1300rwhp but I will keep the sleeper look , just with Toyo R888 drag radial tires.

Building a reliable boosted car is not cheap . You cheap out and use knock off parts especially on parts with rotating assemblies or the person building the car do not have a clue on what they are doing , then you will have a short lived fun. That is how many of these people , who are complaining about reliability of boosted cars experience then they plaster the internet with non sense when it was their fault after all.

* PARTS TOTAL - $ 35,554.00

* LABOR / Tuning - $ It is not cheap to get a car in this condition with tuning especially if it is done by the pros . Though you save a lot if you can do things yourself ! Before I got this car , my buddy spent at least $14k on labor based on the receipts he has.

ENGINE BAY PICTURES . This is how it will look till I swap the new setup that is actually ready to be bolted in (HKS exhaust manifold with HKS 60mm wastegate , 4" down / mid pipe and exhaust , Precision PT-7685 Gen 2 Sportsman , huge intercooler and hypertune 12 injector intake with direct port nitrous and of course the fully built short block that was built to withstand +1500rwhp) .

The sleeper look just with the Toyo R888 Drag Radial Tires . Once those tires are done ,I am moving to Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radial 305/45R17 at the back.

The interior :

The front and rear dash cams are not installed , they are there near the shifter. I need to find a good way to keep them on the windshields. They keep falling due to the hot weather. The glue liquifies with heat. I need them to capture and record all my kills or if I am killed by a faster car while the AIM Smarty Cam will record video with car / engine data super-imposed so I get to learn and know what I am doing while I was driving or how the car is performing.

That tan car looks so good and totally unassuming front the outside and even the inside!

Very, very clean my friend! With the VVT-i does it even need to spool up that much just driving it around town normally?

And how does that McLeod twin disc clutch with the T56 Magnum feel? Easy to modulate?

Thanks buddy ... yeah , I just got tired documenting what I do and instead drive / enjoy more my toys and less sitting in front of the computer doing a write up . If you guys would see my triple pump setup on this car , you will be amazed how simple the plumbing is and yet will be able to handle at least +1300rwhp on E85 . You learn a lot , improving what you did in the past as you continually work on your toys. Even the fuel / nitrous setup on another SC I have modified , improved and its fuel setup in the trunk looks really good now , having a fuel cell but never documented it. Getting old doing this write ups..hahaha.

Thanks my friend . Indeed it is very unassuming . I will keep it looking this way even when the hp will be where I finally want it for this car . Am about to remove actually those two white EGT and Boost / Vacuum Gauges and just keep the AIM Dash so it looks even cleaner in there.

With VVTI , even within the low rpm I get good boost especially with E85 which produces more exhaust energy. I was even tempted to put a Quick Spool Valve but didn't since I was happy already with the way it performed down low.

McCleod Twin Disk Clutch is so easy to drive. Not much difference in pedal feel with the stock W58 or R154 . Just a tad firmer. It just drives me crazy at times trying to remember where the damn Reverse is when you have a V160 on the supra , W58 on an SC , ZF 5 speed on the BMW and now a Tremec Magnum-F on this car... they all have different location on the shifter for the Reverse . Am glad I don't anymore have the SC with R154 or it will add up to the confusion .

I always loved the looks of the SC300 & SC400. Two years ago, I tried to get an SC300 swapped with a 2jzgte 6 speed but an A**hole who was then a member of this forum fooled me. I was so disappointed that I literally chopped that car in pieces and kept all the usable parts. I stopped lurking around this forum and turned my attention on the Supra MKIVs and their forums. In the course of two years I have owned a number of MKIVs and still do today.
Sorry to hear about your previous experience although VERY late happy to see you came back to the SC family.

The tan looks good with the TT wheels The audi reverse is up and left like the getrag and the t56 is up and right with the lockout.. drives me crazy too but I have started to get used to it, easier now that the tacoma 5spd is sold with the "normal" down and right.

That is your donor, it is my cars twin brother. Sorry to see one of my brothers no longer with us. Damn I made it to page 11 and was to anxious and had to skip to the end.

I love what a sleeper that car is!! My god. I get giddy just thinking about lurking on cars on the highway in that little tan rocketship.

I know that feeling about the documentation and write ups. It takes so much effort and slows down the working time. I've been working on a wrecked MKIV project for a while now, and I have been debating if I wanted to do a build thread for it. We're about 1.5-2 years into the restoration and it barely came home from the body shop a few weeks ago, so things are finally getting serious. I've tried to take as many pictures as I can, but no write up to go with it so far.

I am trying to document my build thread **cough** 4 years later, thankfully not much has been done on it. However I get the feeling people really just want to see the monumental changes, new wheels, new paint, new suspension, etc. I think a very small percentage want the minute details. Do what you can and take pics man, we still care.

Thanks guys for your complements ...

I bought two 13" multimedia equipments to be installed in two of the SCs that I use most now , one with the 6speed Tremec Magnum F and one with the built ATFSpeed A340e .

Today , I managed to install one for the SC with 6 speed. Now I can surf the net and do whatever I can do on my I-phone and a lot more .

I call it my SLA300 ....Tesla copycat , lol . Though I will guarantee you , non of the Tesla models now will even come close to the tail lights of these two SCs on a wide open free way . I don't think any of their models are making 1000rwhp now . I believe they have one at 760rwhp .

Some pictures

It will be easier for me to find places with huge navigation maps

I can surf the net and find any info I want to look for

Looks like Ludacris is saying " Oh shoot this thing is crazy FAST"
