Red SC with 2jzgte / 6 speed is back in the fold 🤗 . Sold this car some time back but had to repossess it today. Since it was a friend who bought it , I alllowed him to pay the car with a down payment and the balance at a certain date. Having Breached the Contract, I had no choice but to tell him to return the car which he gladly did today 👍 .
Wow! He didn't have it very long. I'm glad he was good about returning it it to you with no fuss after breaking the contract. I must say it looks really good specifically in your driveway, Gerry!
He is a good friend so no problem in getting it back . He had it for 5 weeks . He drove it back to my place when he realized he can’t fulfill his obligation and based on our contract , am keeping the non refundable 25% down payment 😉. He also really took good care of it ..new Michelin tires, new battery , new coils and other stuff. I can’t complain honestly 🤗 ! Is it going to be for sale ? With the prices of SCs going up , only if the price is right and it will be harder for me to let it go this time.
Since I am keeping the red SC at this time unless I get an offer I can’t refuse , either the white 1997 SC300 original 5 speed but now boosted OR the project black 1996 SC300 has to go. I have always sold the other 1997 original 5 speeds I had in the past at a price that the new owner can flip it the next day and make money ….but I always priced them high on every ad to weed out those not really serious or are window shopping and not waste each other’s time . Will sell to those who first can inspect the cars so there are no misunderstandings .
Black car in the background . One in the foreground is fully built making 1050rwhp and not for sale !
🤔 been a while … today decided that it was time to replace the stock SC rear brakes ..calipers/rotors with 345mm rotors and 4 pots calipers . Almost had an accident so I need more stopping power before this car ends in a ditch 👹 !
If I don’t get lazy tomorrow , the fronts will be replaced with 355mm rotors and 6 pot calipers 🤔 . These BBKs should have been installed a long time ago 🙈 but been putting if off always .
Gerry I'm glad that you are okay!! You can never have too much stopping power in these heavy cars. What brand/model 355mm 6-pot front calipers and which brand/model 345mm rear 4-pot calipers are these which you're installing?
