I wish I can get it a really good Candy Apple Red paint job. Unfortunately I hate spending more on cosmetics since SCs just do not have any market when it is time to let them go. . I might actually put this back to its original state W58 5 speed / 2jzge since I have all that stuff and use the 2jzGTE / 6speed Tremec Magnum in another MKIV I have.

Been looking for a boosted sedan for a very long time , to a point of I thought of building a 2jzgte GS300 ... so when a friend offered this Civic Si , whose engine and 6 speed transmission are built , so it can actually handle more power with bigger fuel (injectors / pump) system, I grabbed it right away ! Thinking of pushing it to 800rwhp eventually . With 2600lbs and the power it has , it is just crazy throwing you all over the place.

Yeh How many 30 yr old cars look like they could be on a new car dealers showroom for sale?
I believe Toyota totally mismanaged the SC and I addressed that in a recent reply;

"totally missed the vision of what the car really was. Hardly advertised it, never raced it, never realized the cars potential. Look what this club has been able to do just in home garages, never picked up on the soarer clubs in Japan. The Thunderbirds and BMW's were revisioned on regular basis. Same Corvette and others.
Lexus just dumped it out there and let it dry up on the vine. They did that to a beautiful car that had maybe the finest production V8 ever.
The car body of mine has proved to be as bullet proof as its 1UZ

yeah but in all honesty, the reason we all play with these cars is because of the price point to get into them and they come with so many cross compatible supra parts

The black and red SC's are looking great as always! There is always a good choice and a fun experience to be had when driving a car from your stable : )
