Early evening yesterday , I have decided to sand the sideskirts I had and painted them garnet red (3k3) to try them on my Red Dragon. If the car will look good with them, I will keep them instead of selling them ... I am not that crazy about body kits, though these are OEM side skirts.

Now that I am gonna install the built 2jzgte engine , I will now use an aftermarket radiator with the IS300 dual fans which I have painted black. Those fans as documented on supraforums can flow a lot of air..... still debating on wether to go 6 speed or Boost Logic Auto though.

THEY

WON'T

FIT!!!

unless you are runing your charge pipe at an agressive angle and moving your battery to the back the is300 fans will not clear. how do i know?? because i tried it and now iam stuck with a shroud/fans that i have no use for.

For real ? man, I hope you are wrong . They did work on my MKIV .... .. BTW, I do hope you get your issues on your car sorted out !

My intake / charge pipes are not on stock location .. My battery will be relocated cause am using a greddy intake with a 90mm throttle body .

This will be how my engine bay will more or less look like..... and man, if you have the IS fans.. let me barter with you on them some stuff.. I can use them for some other projects ..

then you are spared.

stock location of the charge pipe or pointing down will not work.

Indeed you are right if you are using the stock intake plenum .

Well, fortunately that had been long considered before I have even bought an aftermarket radiator and the IS fans. Did a lot of research on them before. I wanted them cause those fans flow a lot of air... but the downside is you simply cannot use the stock intake plenum. That is the reason why I went into a Greddy intake aside from the fact that the intake should flow more air and be able to accomodate a bigger throttle body.

Decided to install the side skirts , they look good on the Red Dragon with the old front bumper with lip so they are staying on there ... not for sale anymore !

Without side skirts

With the side skirts , makes the car look like more lowered... And the paint .. perfect match .. damn , now I believe I am going to paint the other Lexus instead of spending so much money bringing it to a paint shop. That will save me at least a grand.... hhhhhmmmm

Since I am going all out on this build , I will use what I already have on hand...the best among the best for fuel pumps. I will replace my summit racing filters and backup big pump with Weldon filters and a weldon pump respectively for reliability. I guess that is why these pumps are used in the aerospace industry due to their reliability. No wonder they can afford to offer lifetime warranty. I will install the 14000 Weldon controller too to keep the external pump noise minimal. Extra weldon pump will have to go to the ads. I don't need a spare for the Weldon pump since they have lifetime warranty.

Now am sure I have a real monster in my fuel system setup... with 3 TT denso and a backup Weldon 2435a with controller.

Instead of an aeromotive fuel regulator , I will use this Weldon Fuel regulator .. all good for E85 too ... I just have to replace that cheap gauge currently connected to it ...lol

Tial BOV welded in my 3.25" cold pipe before the intake manifold
