I don't even wash anymore my other cars which I do every week because all my free time had been eaten by this sucker.

I also don't feel like starting anything on the engine bay till am back from London for the Olympics. My brother and his family who lives there said he can get all the venue/game tickets for free , Just have to bring my family there and all the tabs in London will be on him.. what a great offer ... So am seriously considering taking our European vacation for summer. Well .. we will see . Till then, I guess got to do more work on this car just like you said Sir Megamax .

LS400 rotors are an inch bigger in diameter compared to the SC400 rotors. They are 4 pots just like the TT supra mkiv compared to the 2 pots of the SC400. Calipers are also lighter than the TT supra mkiv calipers. So you get some weight savings there.

one down , got to do the passenger side . It should be easier since now I know the trick .. first time always takes longer when you are learning . But it sure feels good to be doing all the work for your toys... a sense of accomplishment and don't have to spend a dime on labor... been there before.. spent so much on labor but never always got what I wanted .

thanks ... I know how it feels when you have a run away car . . Been there before , lost my breaks, I had to hit the gutter and up a hill just to avoid the cars that were on a stop in a traffic light junction... am glad there was that hill or I could have been in a big mess.. I was ready to get the front of my car embrace a tree just to stop the car ..

After a good nap this afternoon, decided to work on the passenger front caliper, rotor and brake line ..

Forgot to mention, you will either have to remove or bend that dust shield cause it is smaller than the diameter of the ls400 rotor.

Am relocating my battery to the trunk so am using Gauge 0 cables with a circuit breaker and distribution box. I wonder were will a good place to put the battery be. I am not yet decided which battery I want to go with , though was leaning with a dry cell Odyssey PC1200MJT since they occupy less space but are kinda pricey.

Looks to me that if I take out the jack and wrench on the left rear of the trunk , near the phone receiver , that can be a good place to tie it down with a box. I can start with an ordinary battery I have and see how it goes.
