Learned something new tonight while I was installing the transmission mount and cross member . Damn SC300/400 or even Supra auto trans cross member wouldnt work with the BL twin turbo auto tranny on a Lexus SC. The threaded mounting holes under the car do not match with the holes on the cross member. I had to use one from the 6 speed transmission cross member. I am glad I had one.Now that makes me wonder why .... Is it because the SC300/SC400 has a longer wheel base ? But isn't the SC300/SC400 A340e/A341e auto tranny same in length as that of the Supra A340e/A341e? IF yes so how come the cross member from the Lexus SC wouldnt work ? hhhmmm... .. maybe the gurus can enlighten us a bit.

Upper picture is from a Supra 6 speed tranny and lower is from a Supra TT auto tranny which is same for Lexus SC auto tranny

6 speed tranny cross member was used with the BL auto tranny

You sure that's tt auto diff? because it looks like the stock 3.92 Sc400 diff . All the Supra diffs i have seen have the cooling fins on the bottom.. just saying

My 4" HKS super dragger catback has to be extended due to the fact that the SC has a longer wheelbase than the MKIVs ..

Today I also received my TXL gauge 10 wires for my 3 x denso TT pumps and fuel feed tubes which are supposed to be E85 friendly since they will be submersed in E85 inside the tank. I can now finalize my in-tank pumps setup ..

Gerb why are you only using three TT pumps, why not six? LOL

This thing is going to be a beast. I will make sure to stay away from this SC while I am in Georgia. :-)

..6 pumps .. lmao.. damn .. I just talked with someone from a reputable motorshop in FL who will most likely tune my car and told me just use one TT denso pump for cruising (and maybe if I want, another one for failsafe operation ) so fuel system wont be so noisy and then at WOT or certain boost we fire the Weldon 2345a whose pump noise will be drowned by the exhaust at higher hp level. Well, got to listen to the experts . He said less pumps better as long as it can support the target RWHP .. less parts to fail.

Nah .. you don't have to stay away from the red dragon when you are here , let me know when you are around so we can terrorize the neighborhood. I will cruise around as stock looking and sounding as possible ...
