After it was all said and done, I think Batlground did a great job on tuning mine. I haven't had a hiccup yet on the tuning portion of my SC. I had some wiring issue with the fuel pump yesterday, but got it all figured out. I wonder why the AEM V2, won't automatically convert from the different fuels when pumped in? If it does, I don't know it does. I know you will keep us posted on the progress. The build is coming along great...

I have no problem bringing my car to Batlground. They did good on your car . And as long as they say they can work on the proEFI or AEM Infinity-10 with the flex fuel sensor then they have my vote. At least they are not one of those who say can do one thing but actually ask somebody else to do it for them or take an eternity to do something that can be done in a day or two.
The AEM V2 does not support flex fuel . They say before they will work on it modifying the software to support flex fuel but never did. And with the advent of the AEM Infinity-10, I will be surprised if they will ever work on the V2 to support flex fuel. It will be more beneficial for them to make people buy their new stuff I guess. The Infinity-10 has a lot more good features than their V2 that's why it is worth looking into it like traction control and others. I just hope it doesn't take them long before they release the auto tranny version of the Infinity-10 or I will jump on the proEFI just to get this red dragon on the streets.

Today I decided to work on my fuel lines that will provide the volume needed by my 2433cc Siemens Deka injectors. I fastened my -10an supply and -8an return lines with clamps. Next on the list to do will be to finalize my tank and pumps setup. I need to find a good place were to install the flex fuel sensor too. My problem is the sensor I believe is only somewhat -6an in size and my return is -8an which is already a size down from what Weldon recommends as return line size for their 2345a pump.

Looks good man. Use the correct an fitting wrench so you wont scratch your fittings so much... lol
coming along quite nicely.. I learned something new about the AEM V2 just now. I didn't know it didn't support the flax fuel or E85...
what about race gas?

The AEM v2 doesn't support flex fuel meaning it cannot automatically adjust the tune on the fly based on how much ethanol content is measured by the flex fuel sensor. BUT you can use your AEM v1/v2 for E85 or race gas . You just have to load the corresponding map manually into the ECU from your computer. That is why when you were asking about E85 on your thread , people where saying that you need a new tune / map. Also E85 uses 30% more volume that is why your fuel lines, injectors and pumps should be able to provide that and those components should E85 friendly. E85 attracts moisture and water facilitates corrosion on non E85 friendly components.
Tuning is based on the octane rating of your fuel. E85 is 105 octane and pump 93 is 93 octane. Well I hope I got that right ...lol. So you can drain or empty your tank of 93 then pump E85 but need to use your E85 map . The problem with non flex fuel ECUs is , let's say you are on E85 map and fuel, then you reach a place where there is no E85 station, you will be stucked. You cannot pump 93 till you change your map again manually into your 93 map. Where as with proEFI and AEM Infinity-10 , even if you are in a deserted place where there is no E85 station , you can pump 93 and even mix it with whatever E85 left in the tank and the ECU adjusts your tune automatically ... no danger of getting lean or rich.
I prefer to keep the car with E85 due to its benefits just like my supra which is on proEFI. Higher octane means cooler engine , more horsepower. Its price is lower than pump 93. Consequently lot cheaper than race gas but it is the closest thing to race gas in terms of octane rating. So the big boys use the E85 - E98 blend . The only disadvantage is it is not available everywhere so having flex fuel capability on your ECU saves your day. You are not stucked in the middle of nowhere when you are out of E85 as long as there is 93 gas station.

lol... that is the cheapest option .. have your laptop always and just get another map / tune for E85 when you have upgraded your injectors / lines / pumps to support the extra volume and have E85 friendly components.

Gerry, on page 70, when you said you needed to use the 6spd crossmember...
The TT Auto/TT 6spd is the same crossmember. They are both the same part number and obviosly the same bent shape.
That's why you were having issues fitting with the "straight" style corssmember...that is actually an SC300/ NA Supra crossmember which is also the same part from na auto/5spd.

Now, I'm having trouble deciding which crossmember I need to use on my car. My car's an original auto and I'm doing the V160 swap, and bought a TT crossmember (the bent one like the one you installed on your SC).
Now I am wondering if that's the one I need or do I need the streight one from the NA. Hmm.
