My daughter is learning how to drive. She had already been asking me what car will she drive.I don't want to give her my platinum metallic color sc400 cause it may start giving her problems and get her stranded being a high mileage car. I have no plans of buying a new car for her and at the same time I hate to give her one of my big vehicles I don't use being a new driver. So anyone around here want to trade their reliable car with comparable value with a)GMC Sierra with a Fabtech 7.5" lift kit / 35" M/T wheels & tires with 70k miles which I had since brand new OR b) GMC Yukon XL Denali AWD with 20" wheels & 120k miles which I had for 7 years now I believe.

Haven't done much lately on this project. Yesterday I started modifying my engine harness so it will be ready for whatever ECU I decide to go into with all the extra sensors needed for engine protection and monitoring.

Added/Modified the following

* Fuel pressure sensor wiring for ECU
* Oil Pressure sensor wiring for ECU
* Flex Fuel sensor wiring for ECU
* Map Sensor wiring for ECU
* AIT Sensor wiring for ECU
* Coolant Sensor wiring for ECU

* Radiator Fan 1 & 2 wiring for ECU
* Boost Control Solenoid Wiring for ECU
* Solenoids wiring (N-tercooler and Nitrous) for ECU

* Fuel Pressure wiring for Gauge
* Engine Oil Pressure wiring for Gauge
* Coolant temp wiring for Gauge
* Engine Oil temp wiring for Gauge
* Transmission Oil temp wiring for Gauge

* added 3 extra wires to ECU so if there is a need to control any other peripheral , got the wires already

Since I started with a JDM 2jzgte and SC300 harness .. decided to take out all wirings and plugs I don't need, like those for the VSVs.

I also decided just to keep the car stock 92 SC400 looking so I took out the 97 sideskirts.

This reminds me of the hate I have for wiring stuff. What a nightmare. Is this thing ready yet? I am ready to take a ride in it and possibly drive it. Lol

You going to IA this weekend?

lol .. I thought you love the wiring portion .. lol.. trust me , we will meet as soon as this is ready so we can play on Interstate 20 between Alabama and GA ...at the border so cops can't follow us easily ... out of their jurisdiction .. lol....

Man, am tempted to go pro-efi on this damn car since there are no indications when the freaking AEM Infinity10 for auto transmission will be out.

What made you say am going IA ? lol.... this weekend , am going to my place down GA and then to Tallahassee , FL using my stroker Supra going through GA27 from Columbus GA.. so I can play. That is a 120 miles stretch basically no cars/trucks .. maybe you will see 10 to 15 cars within that 120 miles..... I will try to see how fast I can drive the damn stroker supra. When I drove it 900 miles from Texas when I bought it, it was an evening drive so I wasn't able to push it and I was trying to feel the car then. But now am ready to push it and see how it does on a long stretch freeway.

Anybody here from Columbus GA ? Are there E85 stations in that area? I would like to fill up with E85 rather than 93 before going through GA27 so the car will enjoy that stretch better ..

That's definitely going to be a fun little drive. I'm already plotting a nice little driving trip for myself. Possibly I-75 to I-16 toward Savannah.

^^^ That is another good road to play buddy... though there maybe more cars than the GA27 stretch from Columbus to Bainbridge GA. Am about to leave and having a sunny and not so cold day will be perfect for the +1k rwhp stroker supra to test. And good thing, there is E85 south of Columbus GA... at Fort Benning... yes!!!!

Man , all it needs is the right ECU . Just installed my 2 x auto trans cooler , 1 x oil cooler , 1 x power steering cooler. Am tempted to install the 440cc , stock ecu and stock boost for now just to be able to use it around while the AEM Infinity10 for auto trans is not yet out. I wonder how it will run with those 272 cams, 4" exhaust and stock ECU. It might run like crap .. lol ... According to John Reed , there is even no ETA on it yet... damn... I want to get this thing running and yet I want flex fuel and be able to run E85 so I can get the best power I can from so I can maximize the huge fuel system I got for it. ProEfi will be nice but local support doesn't exist... No local tuner for it.

yes it will.. it will be kinda rich but that is better than being lean... not much difference from your stock 1jz injectors anyway..

am basically done with my modified harness except for the sensor connectors/pigtails which are yet to come.

Well am now leaning towards ProEFI since the Infinity10 for auto trans has no ETA. I will just have to dispose some of these JZ parts / engines I really don't need. I always told myself one day I will use them but that one day never comes so a lot of things got to go. I can easily do another complete 2jzgte swap with what I stll have laying around. That will help me free up some funds too without breaking the bank again for my ECU setup which is well over $3k for the ProEFI.

Who among you will prefer the TRD strut bar from the Tanabe Strut bar ? I wonder if the TRD is made of steel or aluminum that can be polished ?
