Finally got tired of the super white 6000k HID's and swapped to 5000k for low beams and 3000k for fog lights. IMHO, 5000k or 4500k is the best and most ideal for daily driving especially if you do long drives. The 6000k and above become eye straining whenever I do long drives. The 5000k still looks white from the outside but without the blue glare, very warm and appeasing to the eyes.![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Just look how blue the 6000k look.

What do y'all think? I think it adds attitude to the '96 and below body.

Another thing I liked about it was, it makes a really clear cut-off line compared to the 6000k's. The projection of the 6000k I used to have was just all over the place that I couldn't see the cut-off line. (Will take better pics of the cut-off line in the morning.)

Looks white from the outside, but natural looking light from the inside.

Remember when HID kits used to cost an arm and a leg?? Nowadays they're so cheap I can have all the color temps that I want, LOL. 6000k, 5000k & 3000k.![Woot](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/woot.gif)

Also dried, cleaned, clear coated and polished my lenses prior to doing the swap. I'm so OCD that whenever I do this, I'm not satisfied until the lenses are as clear and transparent as the glass high beams. You be the judge.

Finally got a proper alignment after killing a few(4) tires in year. Nothing much to say, but drove a couple of hours from San Diego to Temple City near LA to Cyrus / JC Auto House. Should've really done this a long time ago, but was lazy of driving that far. Anyways, here are a few pics.

Yeah, he built it like that 'cause he specializes in lowered cars.

So what killed my tires? Let us see, toe settings, unequal camber, basically everything an alignment guy should've fixed.

that really is a beautiful color, and seeing all these pictures of even little modifications/maintenance makes me wish i would take more pictures of mine when doing the same.
Keep up the good work, that car is lucky to have you as its owner.
