You should make a tutorial thread/video on your carbon wrapping process

Kwik,
I really like what you have done with the door sills. I had planned to do this too only with texalium (the silver "cf") instead of black cf to try to match my other interior pieces. I bought the fabric but have no experience doing this and have not been able to find someone to do it. Also, what did you use to remove the silver "Lexus" name plate in the sills and how do you plan to re-attach? Part of my plan/wish was to do this with the illuminated sills which I already have on my car. Are you up for a challenge/project??

There is actually a thread in the ISx50 forums where a member does a right up. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...bon-fiber.html
that is the link right there.. I do pretty much the same process but I use different type of resin. Its a lot of work and practice makes perfect

The silver Lexus parts is actually held on by double sided tape.. Just take a heat gun and run it over it for a few seconds and you can actually pry it off.. Be careful though as it bends really easy.

Update. Pretty much finished sanding them up. I just need to touch up in some areas then clear them for that nice glossy look.

Haven't posted in awhile.....so lets bring this thread back to life.. long story short. I hit a pothole/ditch where they were doing some construction (no signs posted) and bent all four of my wheels. Wasn't that bad of a bend, but still noticeable and annoy the crap out of me. So no more mag blue ;(

Finish that door sill also. I'll post those up tomorrow.

Also picked up some 2011 headlights. Modded the crap out of them too..

Tore the stock projector out and retrofitted them with some s2k ap1projectors. Far better cutoff and output. Pain in the butt to do, but if you drive at night alot you will love them..

The new cut off line and color mod.

I'll take some better night shots tomorrow

I'm liking the black on gold. Looking forward to seeing the headlight retrofit.
